When Scarlet has a hallucination about being attacked by a werewolf, she thinks she's going crazy. It's only when the rescuer from her hallucination appears that she learns the truth about what happened the night she lost control of her own mind. The boy who saved her, Chad, explains that she was mumbling and incoherent when he found her on the street. He brought her home and tucked her into bed. At first she believes him, but as a romance begins to form, she realizes there is more to the story than he is letting on.

For starters, let me start with Main characters

Scarlet
Scarlet basically believes what she want to believe. She had all the evidence that there was something unusual about Chad (e.i. getting super uncomfortable when they talk about werewolves) but she choose to believe that she was the crazy one. Granted, that is a lot to take if you think realistically, but at some parts it was just to hard to overlook. I did like her reasoning for everything and her good sense of logic (I.E. when she sees wolves, she runs instead of just standing there). She got better toward the end of the book so that was good. I do hate the way she did buy into Chad's super lame excuses.

Chad
It was cute how he got all tongue tied and blushy when he was around Scarlet, but did his excuses have to be so lame? We know he can lie pretty well (he lied Scarlet's parents pretty well), but his excuses were super bad. I bet if this book was in his perspective, he would probably think "wow! she bought that?" and "how did she even survive this long?"

All of the side characters I had no complaint, just the main.

With that all said, if there is a sequel, I would still read it :|

Okay, but i would read the sequel

Did Not Finish

I just couldn't do it. Everything smelled 'of' or was the color 'of' something - nothing simply smelled like cinnamon or was a green shirt. Everyone's face drains of color. All the time. There is little in the way of description and is mostly dialogue. And our leading lady is thrilled to have 'landed' someone she's been on a single date with. I'm too irritated to continue. DNF 54%

I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute werewolf read. The story was paced so that I was able to read in one sitting easily. I hope there will be a sequel and we get to know more about them.

This story wasn't that engaging. It felt rushed and predictable. Good shifter vs bad shifter. I didn't really feel it at all.
