Welcome back to Fellside for the next book in the Fellside Mountain Rescue Series full of passion and desire.
Dan: I need help! When I unexpectedly find myself as a single dad, I know there's only one place for me to go - back home to Fellside to be with my adopted family. However, returning home also means reuniting with Rose. She and I shared a magical night in our twenties, one I've never been able to forget. What's holding me back from finally confessing my feelings? Well, for one, there's her brother, who also happens to be my best friend. And now there's Maisie, my little girl, whose presence in my life has made everything infinitely more complicated.
Rose: When my brother calls me and tells me that Dan is coming back, I immediately get butterflies in my tummy. He's the one who got away. Of course, I won't turn down his request to stay with me over Christmas. When he finally arrives, I quickly realise I'm in trouble. Not only is he even more attractive than I remember, but seeing him taking care of Maisie just melts my heart. One kiss is all it takes, and I know I'm his, but that's when things get complicated.
Wrap Up with Me is a heartwarming tale of second chances, infused with a sprinkle of Christmas magic. Wrap Up with Me can be read as part of the series or as a stand-alone novella. It is a book for mature audiences and readers should pay attention to the trigger warnings.

If you don’t find this to be one of the cutest little Christmas novellas then who pissed in your figgy pudding?
Wrap Up With Me, is a Christmas novella in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series. It’s just adorable. Dan, a man that once lived in Fellside, returns once he’s been surprised with being a Father. Rose his best friends sister just happens to have room for them to stay.
This has a little bit of everything to get you in the Christmas spirit. A little spicy bits, reconnection years later, some cute and funny shenanigans.
I just love Dani Elias’ novellas. She packs with so much fun and leaves you with a smile. There’s an actual plot in each one of these, and I just love that.
I’m so excited for the next one, but also sad if it’s the last. I don’t know what I’m going to do without my Fellside guys.
What a cute second chance, small town novella! I just finished a large book so this short and sweet novella was exactly what was needed. There is a line in the story that says something along the vein of feeling like a Hallmark movie and it very much felt that way— and I was here for it. A sappy cute is perfect for a holiday read! Dan has been left with a baby— his baby— which he did not know about until she was brought to him after the mom died in childbirth. Not believing he could handle this alone, he returns to his hometown. This means reuniting with Rose, whom he has loved forever but never told. Since it’s a novella, the reuniting happens rather quickly but it’s still so cute 🥹
Firstly, I think someone mentioned it before, but Dani is the Queen of Epilogues and Bonus chapters. This book's epilogue is the perfect ending, and of late, her bonus chapters have become deliciously steamy. Be sure to download the bonus chapters!
Now, about the book. I don't know what to say except that it's perfect. There's no doubt I'll read it a few more times before Christmas because it's the perfect Christmas story. Dan and Rose are incredible together, and their connection is so genuine. Dan's struggle to come to grips with being a single dad felt so real, and watching him build his relationship with his little girl was heartwarming.
But the book isn't just incredibly emotional; it's also super funny. There were some laugh-out-loud moments (I'm thinking spider, "d*ck cookies," shower, and antlers). And there's a good amount of schmexy time.
Of course, the rest of the group is back, and they add their own little moments to it. (I'm so excited for Nick and Charlotte!! By the way, you might want to check out the bonus chapter from "Paint with Me" ;-)). I'm super excited about Ryan's book because there was a nice sneak peek in this one of what's to come.
To sum it up, if you want an emotional and heartwarming Christmas story with incredible characters and some spicy intimate moments, you need to read this book!
What a fun Christmas novella! It has all of the very best Hallmark vibes… single dad returning home, old flame he hasn’t seen in over a decade, and a snowstorm that keeps them in forced proximity! Add a little steamy romance in there, plus a dramatic search party looking for some lost hikers, and you’ve got a fun holiday romance. This is not the first in the series, but the author drops little tidbits in so that you know what’s going on, without having to backtrack. Definitely lots of fun, and you will want to read all of those other stories as well! The characters draw you right in and make you want more.
This is book 7 in the Fellside Mountain Rescue Series. They are stand alones but interconnected. All of them are amazing!
Dan didn’t know he has a daughter until her mom dies and he is contacted to take care of her. When he returns to his childhood home, he ends up staying in the home of the girl he’s always had a crush on.
This is a short, christmasy story and I loved it. I can’t wait for others in the series!
Cute, funny and steamy Christmas novella just over 100 pages. Rose owns an Inn in a small adorable town and Dan needs to move home rather quickly. Thank goodness Rose has room at the Inn!
I really enjoyed this cute novella. It is part of a interconnected series and I did have a few moments where I felt like I would have understood better had I read the others. Buttttt the others are all novellas too so I will be adding them to my list to go back and read.
Thank you for this ARC I am grateful for the opportunity.
Where to begin. Great book. I love Dan and rose. Their friendship started over 20 years ago because Dan is friends with her brother. Their family took him in when his mom left. Dan had a surprise one day while he was at work in London. He called Alex for help. So he ended up moving back. I love everything about this book.

I just love Dani Elias’ novellas. She packs them with so much fun that they leave you with a smile for hours after you finish.
Loved this so much. It’s short, sweet and very spicy. Its beautifully written, its detailed, its over Christmas…so Hello?! You NEED this book. It’s a feel good story, full of hope and love 🥰🥰
This is a quick hot read! I loved the storyline and loved who this friends to lovers/second chance love story progressed. There is a bit of a slow burn but once the flame is ignited, it runs hot!! I don’t know how this author got so much depth and emotion into this short read but she did! It was a perfect pick me up and I loved every page of it!
I think Dan and Rose are my favorite Fellside couple so far. If I said that before, I have changed my mind. It's definitely Dan and Rose. From scary spiders to brand new unexpected babies, this book is amazing. It is a cozy Christmas present that I loved unwrapping.
Lovely Christmas book! Rose has been in love with her brother’s best friend since they were younger. When Dan finds himself a single dad he moves back home to be closer to friends. Dan and Rose have a very steamy chemistry and build a family. Must Read!
Wrap up with me was a beautiful book to say the least. While this is the first book I’ve read from this author, I didn’t feel as if I was missing anything from the other books of the series due to little snippets of history sprinkled throughout the story in a very cohesive way.
The relationship between the characters in Fellside and their love for Dan and Maisey from the beginning gave off a warm and cozy, small town, vibe that made the reader feel comfortable. The beginning initially felt a bit slow but certainly picked up speed and had you wanting to know what was going to be next for Dan, Maisey, and Rose! The epilogue was everything I didn’t know I needed!
✨ Conclusion: I enjoyed reading this and would highly recommend it to someone wanting a Hallmark type Christmas/ Winter read! ✨
This was a cute, feel good novella that was quick and easy to read. The main characters were very likeable and Maisie was super cute! It was full of festive vibes, happiness and love, with a side of spice thrown in for good measure! Perfect short read for this time of year!
This was delightful! The main characters had a lot of depth considering the length of the story. This made me want to go check out the other books in the series. I cant wait to get to know the other characters in this small town. #FMRCHRISTMAS
Wrap up with me by Dani Elias is book 7 in the fellside mountain rescue series. This is a small town, brothers best friend , friends to lovers, second chance romance, telling the story of Dan and rose and baby Maisie. You can read these books as standalones, but I recommend reading them all from the start, as they are interconnected.
I absolutely adore dani's books and this one wasn't any different, it was a fast paced sweet short novella. I loved reading it. Once I started I just couldn't stop. It took me on a emotional rollercoaster ride. The characters are so sweet, the storyline was beautifully written. It's action packed with love, spice, family, friendship, surprises, second chances and so much more. I highly recommend!.
Now let me tell you a little about Dan and rose's story.
Dan and rose have always had feelings for each other, but it never came to anything other than that magical night they shared together. But have been on each others minds since. They both let the other one get away. Dan moved away and rose stayed in the small town. But now Dan is back and has a surprise with him. He needs help and what better people to help him, family and friends.
When Dan finds himself unexpectedly a single dad he knows he's way out his depth and calls his best friend/ brother for help. His brother comes up with a plan and plays Cupid. The road ain't easy. But will Dan and rose get the hea?. Grab the book and find out.
Very quick read with Christmas vibes. I definitely could have read more of this story. While it is a novella, I felt it had a lot of extra plot points that didn’t matter to the small story. I think it would help to read more in this series. It says it can be read as a standalone but I was slightly lost with the side characters.
I think you will love this if you love: 🎄Small Town 🎄Single Dad 🎄Second Chance (fast paced this time around) 🎄Brothers best friend

Dan and Rose’s story is a hot, steamy second chance at love / single father romance with a good dose of angst. They have know each other since they were young and he is best friends with her brother. Dan and Rose also have a history that no one else knows about. They indulged in a secret, one-time only tryst that neither has ever forgotten. Both went on with their lives and have had little to no interaction since. Now both are at difficult time in their lives and need a new start or direction in life. Rose is a recently divorced owner of a B&B and has become rather distant from others, preferring to keep to herself rather than face the gossip about her marriage and divorce. Dan is currently a very new single father to an infant daughter he just learned about. In the space of two weeks, he has resigned from his job and taken on the duties of caring for his daughter. Stressed, overwhelmed and scared he is not ever going to be a good dad to his sweet little girl, he reaches out to his best friend, Rose’s brother, for help and guidance.
Rose was both happy and a little nervous about taking in Dan and his baby girl. She still remembers their shared night of bliss, and in fact still has a crush on him. Seeing Dan at his most vulnerable and clearly down on himself, Rose’s heart aches for him. Time has not lessened his feelings for Rose, and her compassionate, caring attitude deepens those feelings. A shared kiss leads to so much more, but are they ready to admit their feelings to each other and tell her brother what’s going on between them? With their lives in flux, are either of them thinking clearly enough to make a decision about their relationship? Is Dan’s stay in town temporary or permanent? One thing is clear, they both care deeply for his little daughter and for each other though they are afraid to reveal their feelings. Maybe some Christmas magic, a matchmaking brother and meddling friends will help them find their way to a happily ever after.
I received a copy of this delightful and entertaining book, and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Wrap Up With Me is the seventh book in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series, but the first book in the series I have read. It was an incredibly easy and sweet read, full of small-town charm and second chances. When the book originally started, it was from the POV of Alex, and I assumed this was his book, but that's actually Blossom With Me. It soon became clear that this was just the perfect way to introduce Dan and Rose's story, as he was a bridge that connected the two of them—Dan's best friend and Rose's big brother. Wrap Up With Me has a secret baby trope, but it's nothing like the usual trope. Dan gets someone pregnant after a one-night stand but doesn't know about the baby until after she is born, and the baby's maternal grandmother hands her over to Dan because the mother passed away during labour. It's a heartbreaking start for little baby Maisie, but it pushes Dan to reconnect with his old friends and family back up north, as he needs their help and support, and that's how he finds himself living with Rose, the owner of a B&B, his best friend's little sister, and the one who got away. Dani Elias creates a fantastic story that is fun and charming, flitting from tender moments that make you go aww to hot and passionate, spicy times. The element of close proximity really helped these two rekindle their love and explore their future together, and Maisie just helped to cement that. I love that it was low-angst and that years after a young drunken fumble, the characters are old enough to communicate their thoughts and feelings. It may be a short novella, but it just proves Dani's talent that she was able to portray such growth within a short read.
Such a cute Christmas novella that takes place in Dani’s Fellside Mountain Rescue Series.
Dan, who once lived in Fellside, returns when a one-night stand results in a gorgeous baby named Maisie and Dan becomes a single father overnight. Overwhelmed and out of his element, Dan decides to bring up his little girl in the home that he loved and with the people who can help him raise his daughter with love and support.
When his best friend Alex, suggests he stays with his sister Rose, with whom Dan shares a past, at her bed & breakfast, the two re-connect and realize that the feelings that they once had are still very much there. Throughout this book, Dani takes you on a journey as these two friends rekindle their love and build a family.
Maisie is adorable and their parenting scenes were just so much fun to read. Dan is so relatable as he struggles with the new feelings and emotions of being a first-time dad and his fear of failing. Rose is a rock. She takes everything in stride and offers her support and her love to Dan and steadily helps him navigate this new chapter of his life and hers as well. Their second chance at love results in a family and a life neither thought was possible.
Their friends and family are a hoot as they help these two get together! Meddlers the lot! This is sweet and tender read, with laughter, love and a touch of spice for the holidays!
Thanks to Dani and Happily Booked PR & Marketing for the ARC copy of this book for my honest review. It was a pleasure to read.
Wrap Up With Me is Book 7 in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series. It is a short and steamy, Christmas themed, second-chance, curvy girl gets her hunky single dad and brother's best friend romance. Rose is a sweet, curvy girl obsessed with Christmas, who runs a bed and breakfast, and is Alex's younger sister. She has been down since her divorce and not as social as she once was. Dan is Alex's best friend and is now a single dad. He didn't know about his daughter, Maisie, until her grandparents dropped her off after the mother was out of the picture. Dan is overwhelmed as a new dad and moves back to Fellside from London to be around family. Alex suggests he stay with Rose, and he agrees. He and Rose have always been close. They had one night of passion 13 years prior before he left for London. As they reconnect, will old feelings resurface? And will Alex be okay with it?
The chemistry between these two was so hot 🔥 hot 🔥hot 🔥!! They could have melted all the snow ❄️. And we got the most amazing HEA.
I love this whole series so so much, but this is my favorite so far! Rose is my spirit animal with her love of Christmas, and the interactions with Maisie were so cute. She is such an adorable baby, and Dan is totally swoon-worthy. It was so sweet how Rose and Dan were able to lift each other up and show each other they were cherished and loved. I loved everything about it and am sad it's over!! Dani does it again! Now on to Ryan's story.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Tropes: single father, second chance, small town, childhood sweethearts, forced proximity, nanny romance, friends to lovers
Review: A short and steamy holiday read featuring a single father and a small town inn owner. I found Rosie and Dan to be a sweet couple and loved how they spoiled Maisie. Dani did a good job with creating the romance between them but also making the bond between them more about Maisie than steam!
Dan is a newly single father who relocates home after being away. The growth and revelations he had in this book were amazing considering the length of the novella. My favorite thing about him was the love and adoration he had for his daughter. Dani was smart to have the prologue from a different person’s POV so we could see how it was from the outside looking in and I liked how it also introduced Rosie into the plot. Rosie on the other hand is an inexperienced young woman who never moved on from Dan and what they had in high school. I enjoyed how she kept him grounded and centered even with his new learning curved from Maisie.
This book is full of spice. It is the main part of the book and I enjoyed it. I liked how they were already acquainted and not strangers. The way the flame between them ignites makes you want to curl up with a cup of cocoa and a Hallmark movie!
We’re back on Fellside Mountain Series with book 7, being back on this series feels like a warm hug! 🥹
Dan, a newly single father decides it’s time to go back to the small town he grew up after many years away from it, his friends and the people he calls family. Not only does he need help with his baby girl because he doesn’t know what he’s doing but it’s also in need of a place to stay and a job.
So he calls Alex, his childhood best friend and brother from another mother asking for help, and Alex being the big softy he is agrees telling him that he can stay with his sister for a little while until he can get things under control but what he doesn’t knows is that his best friend is playing matchmaker with his sister Rose, who it’s been a little down after her divorce with her ex, without knowing that his sister has been crush of Dan’s for years.
If you believe in soulmates I’d say this is it. Dan, Maisie, and Rose were meant to be together. 🩷
This was such a cute Christmas novella, where we get to see the struggles a new parent faces with their child and how they cope with it. The romance was so sweet, and it was so cute seeing them together and be happy.
Ratings: 4/5 ⭐️ 🌶️
Thank you so much Dani for letting me read an arc of this beauty, I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us!!
Dan is back in town. He lived his life. After baby Maisie got dropped on his doorstep, he knew the only place he could raise her by himself was Fellside with his family. Dan knew there was no way he could give Maisie a good life while working like he was currently, so he quit his job and headed back home. His best friend, Alex, welcomed him with open arms right into his sister's, Rose, Bed and Breakfast.
Dan and Rose have some history. After a night neither one ever forgot, Dan headed to London and never looked back or at least that's what Rose thought. Rose moved on and got married. Her marriage did not turn into the fairytale she hoped it would be. Can these two live under the same roof with all the emotions they have for one another?
Dan needed help and Rose fell in love with Maisie instantly. The whole team did. Will Alex be okay with the rekindled feelings between Dan and Rose? As per usual, the FMR team opens their arms to both Maisie and Dan. They are let back into the fold and taken care of just like readers knew they would. What will happen when Dan has to choose between making a better life for Maisie or staying in Felllside with Rose? Rose is so kind hearted. I loved her. You know I loved Maisie. Who could not? That sweet girl needed her Daddy, and Dan stepped up when it counted. Ms. Elias knows how to create a world that pulls readers in and captivates them.
A dual narrative, Wrap Up With Me follows Dan after he unexpectedly finds himself with a baby daughter at the doorstop, with nowhere to turn he makes the journey home to Fellside where his adopted family resides. However, the return home also means a reunion with one Rose, who just so happens to be his best friend’s sister and the one person he has had feelings for since childhood. When they are thrown together for the Christmas season alongside baby Maisie, Rose and Dan must decide whether they’ll take the leap of faith at this second chance, or let another opportunity pass them by and forever be each other’s the one who got away.
I received Wrap Up With Me as an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC), book seven of Elias's 'Fellside Mountain Rescue' book series. I was excited for my first Christmas read of the year to commence and was not disappointed by the endearing romance I experienced on the page.
It's short, but a cute and sweet romance. It's not groundbreaking, but it captures the classic Christmas romance, full of second chances and steamy scenes. I had great fun, which is exactly what I needed and expected from this romance novella.
If you’re looking for your next Christmas romance, then add this to your list!
