A short story about a woman who watches her boyfriend get murdered by a vampire and gets given the chance to gain revenge by learning how to hunt them. This was a decent story that got straight to the point and delivered a nice vampire revenge story.

I decided not to read on with the novel though, for several reasons. Firstly it seemed to have no relation to this short story which seemed a bit strange. I base this on the reviews of the novel. Secondly, readers said it was slow paced and it sounded like the dreaded instaluv was in it so I decided not to pursue it.
