We read the original Stuart Little stories so we were eager to read more. The movie story line just wasn't as good to me. I think my son was okay with it but he kept pointing out the differences. Bleh.
This book was really good, but sometimes it can become a bit childish. It talks about Stuart Little, a mouse that lives with a family and meets this yellow bird, that becomes his friend, they play and talk together. But their is an evil crow that wants to kill Stuarts friend.Find out what happens next in Stuarts Little Story (n.2).
A cute book with bright, colourful pictures. The story tackles a few important topics such as loneliness, isolation, exclusion and feeling out of place. A great book to read to the kids and raise some important discussions.
A charming tale that gently introduces an important truth: real friends are hard to find, and even harder to keep. The story reminds us that true friendship means being there for each other — especially in difficult moments.
I only wish this were something schools truly helped children understand, instead of encouraging those fleeting connections that disappear the moment classes change.
