This is a Amazing book, was written by my daughter Angela's first Autism teacher Ms. Sue. I am so grateful to her teachers from the MISD (Autistic Program) They are true Angels.

Giggle Time is a step-by-step program for parents, teachers and other professionals to help develop the non-verbal, verbal and social reciprocity skills of children with autism. It describes in accessible detail how to communicate with children with autism spectrum conditions and gives clear instructions on "how to" techniques for developing language skills. Specifically addressing developmental delays, Giggle Time helps to lay the necessary framework for future language growth by turning the actions the child initiates into interactions with meaning. This is a user-friendly guide, packed full of fun and child-centered exercises that can be carried out at home or in the classroom.

Sounds good and she really knows all the things that can possibly challenge the reader when trying to implement her strategies. She tackles all the problems and explains the answers very well. It must take a lot of practice because so far it is not working for me because the student loses interest before I can think fast enough on my feet to change responses or to find one that works for him. Also very hard to do with other students in the room.
