I can't even begin to understand some people. I have always wanted to be a criminal psychologist so I could get in the heads of people and try to understand why they do what they do....how disturbing this book was....

This true crime story was very upsetting. It's about a woman who is killed for her baby by friends she knows. Her two children are killed as well.I remember the case all over the news when it happened.I was sickened then and even more so now that i know all the details.I used to live in the complex it happened.a few years before the crime happened. It's eerie when i see the pictures because i can picture the apartment.

Truly a horrific and sad crime. It's unimaginable how many heartless people there are in this world. Crimes against children are the sickest crimes out there.

This book is amazing! When u read this book you will not want to put it down until you finish it. It was like you was experiencing a live visual of the horrific story yourself. The emotions and feelings I had while readying this book were so intense. I couldn’t imagine having a role of any the individuals associated with it. And then to have came face to face with the female responsible for such intense horrible traumatizing crime . The vibes are intense for sure. Very good illustration of crime/ceimes

Don't even consider looking at the jacket blurb or photo section in this book unless you want the entire story spoiled for you. A horrific crime with several large, unanswered questions left at the end. You won't see another case like this one.

A good book about a particularly heinous series of crimes; enter at your own risk. Veteran true-crime author Bill G. Cox died unexpectedly shortly after finishing the book.

I have heard of people doing these things before but have never read about it and all the Gory facts. This is really sad, but, what makes it worse is it is true. People that can't have children really should adopt. To try to buy a baby in is better than what I just read. (Even though it's still illegal.). Anyway, the fact that it is true makes it all the worse and I don't understand why they killed more people than just the mother.

I love true crime. It is a sick fascination I have. I wanted to read about this case since I could remember it happening in my lifetime. The book does a great job explaining what happened and breaking down the invesigation. It did not however get to what I find really interesting, WHY? Other authors try to focus and write more about the psyche of the killer/s. He focused more on the events and the prosecution. There are some really disturbing crime scene photos that weren't necessary. Interesting enough to finish........

The book was primarily read because I have lived in Chicago and the suburbs of Chicago my whole life. I also really enjoy reading books on macabre subject-matter, as well as true crime books. Special Delivery falls under both of those categories. The book is by no means a scholarly feat, but it does paint a fairly vivid picture of the heinous crimes that were committed. It is worth a read.

Couldn't put it down. It is based on a true story so at times I have had to put it down due to the graphic nature of some parts.
