All I have to say is Sara is BACK!! I know you all realize how much I absolutely LOVE the Amoveos. So I don't have to tell you how excited I am that Unclaimed is here!! But I am so gonna anyway!

Author Sara Humphreys brings us a different slant on shifters and for that I am eternally grateful. Unique vision is always something to be treasured. Unclaimed is Sara's 6th book in her Amoveo series and let me tell you, there were no dropped expectations here! This book was most excellent.

Tatiana Winters is a half breed Amoveo, from the Timber wolf Clan. She has always known not being a pure bred Amoveo was dangerous. But just recently she has discovered how dangerous. When her sister Layla discovered her mate, in Untamed, Tatiana was brought to an entire new reality. Not only was she half shifter but she had a destined mate out there. Honestly, ever hear of free choice? Tatiana was determined to never be forced to mate with some man who didn't know anything about her. She did everything she could to escape the Amoveo life. Until one day the King calls (ok, he sent her sister but same difference) and asks if she, a veterinarian could possibly come to the ranch. Their prized horses are dying and no one knows why.

Dominic Trejada knows his duty.. as the leader of the Guardians he has sacrificed plenty for his people. First as years in the human military and then discovering that his beloved younger sister is in fact a purist. And a traitor and now they are on opposite sides and stand alone. While in dreamscape he knows his mate is near but she seems to be in hiding, never quite connecting. And that totally confuses Dominic.. but that's still something he can handle, he's not quite 30 so his powers are still intact. He has much more pressing matters to attend to.. The purists and the Cadeos (humans who want to destroy the Amoveo) are making his job just that much more interesting . and now there's the horses and the king is bringing in an outsider..

Can you say fireworks? Because rockets went off when these two met.. both knew who the other was and both had reasons to question things. Tatiana was a bit overkill on her desire to be "free" and make her own choices.. but it worked. There wasn't that brashness that often comes when a female character keeps blathering on and on about how she is her own woman.. She does get a major slap down though and I find I loved that... She was fighting destiny and sometimes, destiny just has to slap back.

There is so much going on in this book and yes fans, we get our Steven Fix.. although, I think Sara has a supreme case of Kenyonitis (you know the more she loves a character the more torture he has to endure). Yes, peoples, Steven has more heartbreak to deal with but there is a promise of a happy ending, maybe *grins*.

An action packed book where the subplots have subplots and yet once again Sara manages to pull it all together into a delightful read! Another 5+ star extravaganza from Sara

Veterinarian Tatiana Winters would like nothing more than to ignore the entire Amoveo lifestyle despite her siblings finding happiness within it and the onset of her own dream mating. When Tatiana's sister, Layla ,asks her to come to the Prince's ranch and try to find out what has happened to the stable of horses,Tatiana is torn but agrees to help. Almost as soon as she arrives Tatiana is floored by the onset of mating signs when she meets her dream mate, Dominic, face to face for the first time.
Guardian Dominic was comfortably outfitted in full alpha regalia and ready for his star turn. Determined to not force a mating with Tatiana at the expense of his future, Dominic cannot fight the mating pull and makes a few boneheaded mistakes. Tatiana, who'd been fighting against her Amoveo traits all her life was more difficult to know. Quite often Tatiana seemed a contradiction as she accepted, rejected and demanded to know all about the Amoveo's and their secrets simultaneously. Sparks certainly flew between Dominic and Tatiana making all of their exchanges exciting to read. All of these actions and emotions made Tatiana rather prickly to know. New terrors and old threats arise tying in with the possibility of unseen effects from the last Purest and Caedo attacks kept the tension level high for this read. On the con side, it didn't make sense to me that Amoveo kept making plans in front of their enemies or those that didn't trust.

WOW! What a cliff hanger, when it comes to Steven, Courtney, and Savannah. Hopefully, Steven will realize that they were all victims of the Purists. Poor Courtney! RIP!

I hope the author writes Steven, and Savvanah's story soon. A baby needs his mom.

I am one of Sara's Angels. I like her books. She writes a series about the Amoveo-a specialized group of Shifters. There are the Purists who think they are the best. Then there are regular Amoveos and the Hybrids,a human/hybrid cross. The Purists want to destroy the Hybrids. Dominic is almost 30 and unmated. He will lose his abilities and become a human unless he finds his mate. Tatiana is a Hybrid who was shunned by the Amoveo when her parents died. She wants no part of their world. Guess who is Dominic' s mate? It is interesting to see how Alpha Dominic convinces Tatiana she belongs with him. This is an all out Adult book. Sara writes some of the most awesome Love scenes. You really should read this book. You won't regret it.

Oh My God!
That's amazing book.
I read and couldn't stop till I finished it.
It is full of everything I wish to find in a romantic story (action, violence, romance. ....). And I love it all.
In other hand, the end was amazing and unexpected. It made my ask what will happen next and when the next story comes.
Thanks for the great writer SARA and I wish this series will never end.

4.5 stars: UNCLAIMED is the fifth full length novel (and sixth storyline) in Sara Humphreys adult, contemporary paranormal series-The Amoveo Legend. The Amoveo are an ancient race of telepathic, dream walking animal shape shifters and this is Tatiana and Dominic’s story. With the continuing war between the Purists, the Caedo family and the Amoveo, no shifter is safe from the puritanical minds of those hoping to keep the species pure.

The storyline focuses on an attack against the royal horses in the protected compound of the Amoveo. Already on high alert after several abduction and murders by the Purists and the Caedo family, the Amoveo hope to get answers from hybrid wolf-shifter and veterinarian Tatiana Winters. With Tatiana’s sister already mated to an Amoveo male, it is only a matter of time before Tatiana is claimed by the man who has been walking in her dreams. Dominic is a pure Tiger shifter and his beast has been searching for his mate for a very long time. Amoveo shifters who have not found their mate by the age of thirty, begin to lose their abilities to shift and will eventually walk the earth in human form-and Dominic is one year from his thirtieth birthday.

Tatiana knows she is a hybrid female but wants nothing to do with a domineering Amoveo male who by fate and DNA will lay claim to the woman who will save the beast. As the storyline unfolds it becomes clear that Dominic and Tatiana are meant for one another but Tatiana’s human side still remains defiant until the end. And in the end, everyone will be placed in danger when it is discovered that one of their own may be responsible for the attacks against the horses and threats against the Amoveo and their mates.

The relationship between Tatiana and Dominic is one that is tempered by Tatiana’s reluctance to admit she is Dominic’s mate. As an independent, talented and educated female Tatiana wants nothing to do with a controlling mate and especially not one who is Amoveo and pure alpha male. But once their relationship moves into the final phase, the sexual attraction and heat is evident and it will take all of Tatiana’s will not to succumb to the powers of her intended mate. Hoping to walk away without a backwards glance, Tatiana will discover that she has lost her heart to a man who is willing to die to protect the woman he loves.

Sara Humphreys continues Steven’s story and one that will break your heart when you realize that perhaps it was never meant to be. But fate can be a cruel SOB and Steven will know heartache and pain once again when the reality of his situation will come crashing into the compound in the form of a betrayer and someone with connections to the Purists.

UNCLAIMED is a storyline where the Amoveo males know that there is someone that calls to the beast; a female that completes his life; and a mate that will save his soul. Each instalment finds a different male hoping to find the one only to discover that the ‘one’ isn’t ready to go willingly or peacefully into his life. There will always be a struggle when the male exerts his dominance over his mate but in the end it will be his fated female that has control over the Amoveo heart of her mate. Sara Humphreys writes a fascinating series that will pull you in every time.

Tatiana Winters is determined to be in total control of herself and what happens in her life. Even though she knows she is an Amoveo hybrid, she has always turned away from her heritage and truly doesn’t understand the amazing world that the Amoveo live and cherish. Being a veterinarian, Tatiana was very reluctant, but agreed, to go help with some of the royal Amoveo Arabian horses when her sister asks. An unexplainable illness has overtaken them, and answers are needed to help them quickly. Shortly upon arrival, she finds even more problems that she ever thought possible. The man in her dreams that she is destine to be mated with is here at the Amoveo Prince's Montana ranch.

A Guardian to the Prince, Dominic Trejada is unconditionally dedicated to his role in the Amoveo world. Tall, sexy, with jet-black hair and rugged scar down his left cheek, Dominic penetrates the air with the predator dominance of his tiger clan. The last thing he wants is anything, or anyone averting his focus on his job and protecting his people. At first agreeing with the woman in his dreams, Tatiana and Dominic together stay on the same page and concur that even though they are fated mates, they will not give in, and will walk away from one another after the horses are treated. Yet what your head says doesn’t always reflect what your heart feels, and as the few hours that they have together go by, fate takes their lives and twists them down a path that neither can avoid.

This is an amazing series that is one of my top favorite. Exceptional writing, wonderful plot, and a series I love more and more with each installment. I really enjoy how she makes past story characters an important part of the new adventures and not just a fast cameo appearance. They are such an important part of the whole Amoveo family that it makes the entire series come together in a continuous flow with all the people that you have come to know and love. I would never hesitate recommending Sara Humphreys’ work to another reader. THE AMOVEO LEGEND is a fantastic creation I hope to continue reading for a long time to come.

OMG! This is the 1st book in Sara Humphreys' The Amoveo Legend series that I have read and it won't be the last! It is actually book #5 in that series, but I had no trouble picking up the story right away.... so it can easily be read as a stand-alone. Warning: One you read it, you'll be addicted and HAVE to read the ones that came before. I have read other books by Sara and enjoyed them all... so when I had a chance to read this one, I jumped at it!

Tatiana Winters is a talented veterinarian. She has been raised as a human even though she is half Amoveo. However, she wants nothing to do with the Amoveo as they killed her parents. When she is asked to aid some sick horses owned by the Amoveo, she initially refused.

Dominic Trejada is the lead Guardian for the Amoveo. When he tackles and brings down an unfamiliar energy in the Amoveo compound, he quickly realizes that he's in for the challenge of his life with the feisty veterinarian underneath him.

This is a very engaging story which grabbed me from the 1st paragraph and kept me enthralled until the very end. I absolutely loved the story AND the characters! Did I mention the hot sex that wasn't overdone and blended with the story perfectly? Now I have to find the previous books and catch up with this series!

I highly recommend this book for any one who enjoys a good paranormal story with a sexy romance. AND for anyone who loves shifter tales, this is a MUST READ! 5 STARS!!!!!!

Unclaimed is a story about love, fate, betrayal and fighting the circumstances that often leave us fighting out own natures to the very end. Dominic and Tatiana have a tumultuous and fiery courtship, one that leads them through treacherous water and teaches them both that sometimes changing their plans is necessary to find their true path to happiness. The dangers around them intensify their emotions and make it even more imperative that they learn to trust one another and with trust they might well develop love. I cried a bit near the end when a startling truth about one of their friends was discovered, one that I’m sure will be looked into in more depth during the next book (HOPE HOPE HOPE), but sometimes the beliefs we hold must be painfully shattered before the truth can be faced and true happiness discovered. Sara Humphreys is rapidly proving herself to become a true force to be reckoned with, bringing her Amoveo shifters to life and allowing us into the world she created for them. Cannot wait for whatever happens next, and hopefully the series will last a long time.

Tatiana is half Amoveo (an ancient race of shifters) and half human. Even though she uses some of her Amoveo gifts as a veterinarian, she doesn’t want to have anything to do with these people. When her sister comes to her for help she can’t turn her down because it involves horses.

Dominic has a very short time to find his mate and to save his powers. When he lays eyes on Tatiana he knows she is the one. Yet she has no interest in taking a mate, even if he is the sexy Dominic!

I really enjoy this series. I like the whole shifter aspect to it along with the mystery and romance. I have read only some of the books in this series (something I do need to fix) and this is my favorite one so far. Very easy to get into, the plot was just fantastic. The cliffhanger ending makes me wish the next book was coming out right now!

I had high hopes for this one, but sadly it just didn't live up to my expectations.
IMO, this one is just an "alright" addition to this series. There are things that you need to know, that are revealed here for future books though. So I wouldn't recommend skipping this one.

I just wish I could have become more invested in the MC's. For me, there just wasn't much chemistry between them, and the dragging out of why the heroine didn't want to be with her destined mate, bored me.

When I met Dominic in book 3, I got the impression his character would have much more fire. And whatever plot would be surrounding him and his mate, would be off the chain.
Again, sadly, it just wasn't.

That being said, I still would recommend this series. It's entertaining, interesting, funny, romantic, and sexy... Most of the time.

Happy Reading :)

Sara Humphreys brings readers the fifth book in the Amoveo Legend series, Unclaimed. This is a highly acclaimed paranormal romance series that fans flock to and the release of Unclaimed has been no different. Humphreys has a created a very unique shifter world that doesn't just include the occasional werewolf. She uses shifters of all different kinds and even uses shifter-human hybrids. Readers will love the diverse and original story line in this book and the ongoing development of the characters. Unclaimed features a veterinarian hybrid from the timber wolf clan and is sure to draw in paranormal readers of all kinds.

What I liked:

Sara Humphreys knows how to write paranormal romance there is no doubt of that. But what I think she does even better is to write about shifter dynamics. I love the fact that she has several different Amoveo clans that feature everything from bears to falcons. It makes for a really diverse world with so many possibilities. Animal shifters are definitely my favorite paranormal characters and Humphreys really has a way with them. I liked the fact that she uses a hybrid as her heroine for this one. And one that has no intention of following the Amoveo ways.

I liked Tatiana a lot. She is a woman after my own heart, an animal empath and a veterinarian. The addition of the horses into the conflict in this one was a very original idea and I thought it provided just the right back drop for Tatiana and Dominic's story. I could understand why Tatiana did not want to be a part of the Amoveo world because of her past experience but once she meets Dominic who is her true mate, she begins to see that maybe the Amoveo are not as bad as she thought. I liked her growth throughout the story and the fact that she stuck to guns and persevered until she figured out what was wrong with the horses and who was causing it.

Dominic made a great hero. The Amoveo first meet their mates in the dream realm and Tatiana had been avoiding him like the plague, but he doesn't give up, especially after he meets her in person. I liked the fact that he was close to the end of his rope in one sense. As a guardian he is challenged with protecting the ranch and he is about to lose his abilities because he doesn't have his one true mate. I loved the fact that the Amoveo only have one mate that they must find in their life, that was interesting.

I have read the other books in this series and loved them all. This one was no different. Unclaimed features the coming war between the Purists, the Cadeo and the regular Amoveo. Things are starting to get more and more heated between the groups and it is certain to end badly. I liked that Humphreys is continuing to build the tension between the groups until there will be no other recourse but war. It's getting down to the nitty gritty and more interesting by the minute.

I really enjoyed the heat and sensuality between Dominic and Tatiana. The sexual tension was palpable and totally got my interest. Readers of paranormal romance will love this book for all of it's interesting paranormal elements but romance fans will love the passion and the love scenes which Humphreys excels at. Readers may need a fan and a cold drink for this one.

What I didn't like:

The cliffhanger in this one was pretty enormous and I hate to have to wait to see what's going to happen. Several of the secondary characters are involved and it's hard to imagine that it will be a long time before we know what happens to them. It's a good thing and a bad thing all rolled into one. It makes me practically salivate for the next book to come out, but it's hard to wait.

Bottom Line:

If you haven't tried this series and paranormal romance is your thing, what in the world are you waiting for. It's just that good! The main characters in Unclaimed are sensual and strong willed but underneath all that they are loyal and committed to each other and the Amoveo in the end. It's a great addition to the series and I can't say enough good things about it.

Ok, so I am starting a little late in the game for this series, but I did research first to see if these could be read as stand alone. I was very excited to see that they could be. The only downside was that there were a few characters that I didn't really know, I caught bits and pieces of their back stories but ehhh. So my advice is, you can read it as a stand alone but it may be better to read the other first.

But what I can tell you is that I loved this book. I think for once I actually loved the characters and story more than the sex lol. That is a little unheard of for me. Now don't get me wrong, the sex was damn sure yummy. But this time it wasn't at the very top of my list. So we meet Tatiana, whom is a hybrid wolf shifter. She is part Amoveo and part human. She works as a vet because she has an affinity with animals, she can read their energy waves. One day while working she is visited by her sister who is fully embracing her hybrid life. Oh I forgot to mention that Tat would like to forget she is anything but human. Her sister needs her to come to the ranch she is living at to investigate the Prince of the Amoveo's horses. They have become very ill and one has died. After some convincing she decides to go. Unfortunately a few minutes after arriving she runs into he, dun dun dun, fated mate. The one thing she has been trying to avoid for a couple of years now. And this is where we meet my future husband Dominic. I have to drool here for a minute, I love him. He is now in my Top 5 male shifter list. He made me swoon, tear up, wanna smack him and had me fanning my face all at the same time. I believe I loved every single thing that came out of his mouth. I also loved that even though he was all yummy alpha goodness, he wasn't sniffing everything's ass that walked by. While he was making Tat's heart melt, he didn't have some hoe hanging off of him nor did he smell like vagina. Lol this is an unheard of characteristic lately, and I love him a little bit more for it. Now that I am done drooling. Poor old Dominic thought he had his life planned. All he had to do was keep the prince safe, find his mate or loose his Amoveo abilities. Life was good until that fateful day he tackled his mate before he had the chance to meet her. What happens next is days of fighting, flirting, death, heartache, laughs , mystery and pretty much anything else you can throw in there lol. But the biggest thing is will Tat finally come around and accept who she is? Will she accept Dominic and everything about him as her mate?

I can not wait to read the other books in this series because apparently I have missed some pretty important stuff in my life. I loved this story. The writing was fantastic and it constantly kept me o my toes. I honestly don't think I was bored for even a second. There was really only two things, well maybe ! 1/5 things, that I kind of didn't like. I kind of wish they wouldn't of met or at least realized they were mates so quick after meeting. But then again I did like this because it wasn't the usual for these types of stories. Also the end, sigh. Well it just kind of ended. I mean did they have were tiger wolf babies? I needed a little more to their ending, but I am sure we will still get bits and pieces in the next books, well if there are more books lol. So I loved the story, the characters and the sex made me jealous. Oh and by the way stay away from Dom ladies and gentlemen, he is mine.

Well fans of this series are in for a real treat! This is technically book five in the Amoveo Legend series although a novella has also been released and this full length book continues the story of these unique shape shifters and the people they fall in love with.
In this book we meet Tatiana a veterinarian who is also a half breed Amoveo and a member of the Timber Wolf clan. Her sister Layla has recently met and fallen in love with her mate William and life has just got complicated. Tatiana is in danger from both purist Amoveo's and also the few humans (Cadeos)who have discovered their existence . A war is brewing and Tatiana hopes to stay clear of it.
Layla contacts her sister at the Kings request as the horses at their ranch have been attacked and Tatiana's veterinarian skills are needed. More to the point though her unique Amoveo ability to sense animals feelings could prove invaluable. Tatiana is determined to remain an independent woman and not get embroiled in the Amoveo way of life but her calling cannot be denied.
Arriving at the ranch Tatiana meets the man of her dreams (literally) and the chemistry between them is off the charts! Dominic is a guardian and sworn to protect his King and people but he is aware that his powers will fade unless he finds his fated mate. The problem is he has been sensing her in his dreams and now she(Tatiana) is standing in front of him and not looking too pleased about it! Tatiana is happy to help the horses if she can but bind herself to a complete stranger for life just because of fickle fate? Hasn't anyone heard of free will? Dominic is determined to do everything in his power to protect his people and whether she likes it or not that now includes his fiery mate Tatiana.
Treachery and betrayal surround the couple and danger is much closer then they think. The past events are catching up and suddenly no me is safe. Hearts and lives will break and nothing will be the same for Tatiana again.
Well I really enjoyed this book! It's not my first by this author and if truthful I didn't finish the previous book I tried to read by her as I just didn't connect with the characters. I had no difficulty in finishing this story though as from the first page I felt sucked in to a very intriguing storyline.
Lots of sparks flying between the two lead characters as Tatiana was just such a strong and independent woman. Dominic was the typical alpha male hero and very sexy and speaking of sexy the author certainly allowed her characters to have fun! Lots of hot sensual encounters here!
This was more than just a romance though it is also a very interesting story with lots of mystery and one hell of a cliff hanger ending! You will be screaming to know what happens to one of the supporting characters next and that's something else that stood out for me, very interesting supporting characters that deserve to have their story told. Well done Ms Humphreys you have made me a fan. Definitely recommended and 4 and a half from me

Unclaimed. Sara Humphreys.

Fantasy – shape-shifters and romance – two of my big tick boxes :)
This is much like conventional shape shifters in the whole Mate idea, where there's one predestined mate for everyone. The shape shifters though have a number of differences to what we often see, some can teleport, create things from imagination, speak mind to mind, have healing abilities etc. Some of these we've seen in other novels and some are now to the shifters. There’s also fighting factions – purists, who want to get rid of the half breeds, and humans who want to kill all the shifters. Trouble is with past treachery no-one is quite sure who is who – and to be honest at times I had the same problem.....
Given that Tatiana was so anti all things Amoveo she seemed to succumb very quickly – and Dominic, one minute wants his Mate, then as she's against it so is he, then he shifts back to wanting it – all very confusing along with who was behind the horse sickness and the past problems they ad which still seemed to be active in some ways. It was at this point I did what I should have done before requesting and looked to see if this was part of a series – and it is, book five or so, and I realised if I’d read previous novels I’d have had a far better understanding of the world and the characters in it. My bad! Still, I managed to work out with some back and forth how everyone fitted in and had no clue about how it was all going to pan out. I do like a book that keeps me guessing and Unclaimed certainly did that. Some scorching sex scenes too – and I warmed to Tatiana eventually, she was a good person and I’d just found her absolute abhorrence of all things Amoveo hard to take given that her sister had found her mate and was very happy. I understood her background influence but she's an adult now and surely the people who made her sister so happy deserved a bit of re thinking?
Some great characters once I understood more about them and their world, – loved the way they had a place to discuss things away from anyone snooping – very mysterious and provided a good answer to the question of how others with same abilities would be able to overhear them. That part was really magical and appealed to me. The fight scenes were pretty realistic, the sex scenes hot...but the overall plot – even though I didn't guess who was involved – was a bit thin to me. There was lots of talk, some quick action and then it seemed all over.
From the reviews its clearly a series with a strong fan base, and I do love these sort of novels when they run to a series but for me its just a bit too simplistic, I need a bit more depth and darkness. Priced at £3.70 for 320 pages its a step up in price from previous novels – maybe its longer? I'll check....nope, they're all similar length. Maybe its a reflection on the series popularity – I’ve noticed this happen with other series, that they get more expensive as they gain readers :(

Spirited, fiercely independent Tatiana is a veterinarian. She’s also a hybrid Amoveo and she’s none too thrilled about stepping into their supernatural world. But when the Amoveo prince’s horses suddenly become sick, Tatiana reluctantly takes on the case.

And it’s here where Tatiana meets Dominic, a super-hot bodyguard to Prince Richard – when he accidentally tackles her.

Sara Humphreys is the only author I know of who can successfully pull off a “Sorry I Tackled You” meet-cute.

Tatiana and Dominic fall in love amid a mystery that gets progressively scarier and weirder. Even though figuring out who the villain is was relatively easy, finally hearing the antagonist’s motivation was truly horrifying.

But back to the romance, which was way more fun. Dominic is an alpha male (it’s in the name!) and generally a take-charge kind of dude. He’s a lot of fun, especially when he’s out of his element and kind of awkward. Dominic and Tatiana are cute together and I enjoyed their love story a lot.

The only real problem I had with this book is that the pacing/timeline is just a bit off. The back copy of this book suggests that this one would be a slow-burn love story, but Tatiana and Dominic start falling hard and fast for each other. And there are some things that Dominic does that are a little umm…questionable. But he grows and develops as a character and is adorably awkward along the way.

I made the (minor) mistake of skipping the middle books in this series and reading this one. Why? “Unclaimed” was majorly discounted at a bookstore’s moving sale. So I missed a lot of details that were undoubtedly call-backs to previous books.

Guess I’ll just have to read those ones too.

Dominic has always been committed, from being in the military to being a guardian and protecting his prince. He knew that he needed to finds his mate soon so that he would be able to keep his powers and not turn human. He also knew that she was stubborn and did not want to be found by him. But once he found her, he had to convince her to stay with him. It would be his greatest challenge. And that would be a challenge he would not lose.
Tatiana always knew that she was half human. She knew that she was always different. However she wanted nothing to do with that world. She wanted to be as human as possible. But when her sister came to her asking for help for sick animals, Tatiana couldn’t refuse. So she went to help her sister. She just didn’t think she would find her mate and want to stay with him.
Tatiana always knew what her mate looked like in his animal form. She dreamt about it for a long time, but she never let him see who she was. She did find out what his human form was when he tackled her to the ground. That was because he th9ought she was an intruder. Once they both realized that they were each other’s mate, they struck some dumb deal. Since they were drawn to each other, they would have a no strings attached sex. There would be no mating bond said at all from either one of them. But we all know what happens when things do not go as planned.
Throughout the course of the book, each character tried and ignored what they both truly needed and wanted. Dominic was willing to let Tatiana go back to her human life after the threat of battle was over because he loved her enough to let her go and be happy. Tatiana finally figured that being human was over rated. She was willing to stay with Dominic because she knew that he would never be happy in her human world.
After the threat that was killing the horses and threatening everyone else’s mate, Dominic told Tatiana that he would let her go if that made her happy. He only wanted her happiness. Tatiana finally realized that her home and her happiness were with Dominic.
I loved this book from the very beginning. I actually think that this is by far the best book in the series. I especially loved the last paragraph of the book. It made me have a huge smile. I cannot wait to see which characters Sara comes up with next in this series.

Dominic Tregada is a few months away from loosing his Amoveo powers. If he doesn't find his mate by the time he's 30 his powers will fade. As a loyal guard to the Prince and a tiger shifter, he decides he will continue to guard even though it most likely means his death. Dominic has seen glimpses of his mate in the dream realm but she always seems to elude him.

Tatiana Winter has lived in the human world her entire life. Being only ½ shifter, wolf, she has flown under the Amoveo radar for years. Never wanting to be part of the world that killed her father for mating with a human and creating a ½ breed. Tatiana is especially reluctant about this whole mating business.

Tatiana has a special ability to communicate with animals, as a vet it is a very useful tool But now that her adopted sister has found her mate in the Prince's home, her sister comes to ask Tatiana's help with the Prince's horses. . But now the Amoveo Prince's prize horses are being poisoned and the need Tatiana's help.

From the first moment she lays eyes on Dominic, she knows he is the man she has been dodging in her dreams.

The chemistry is instant but Tatiana will do everything in her power to keep Dominic at arms length. While they circle around each other like hungry wolves/tigers, another much sinister threat is already at the door.

This is my first Amoveo Legend read, but it won't be my last. That being said, you can tell that Unclaimed completely stood on its own. It would have been nice to know the back stories behind the other characters but was unnecessary for Unclaimed to be utterly enjoyed.

Sara Humphreys writes strong, likable characters that are easy to relate with, characters you'd like to call friends.

The road to romance for Dominic and Tatiana is difficult. Tatiana is reluctant to give up her human romantic beliefs while Dominic makes some royally bad decisions with his chase to capture and claim Tatiana. But boy, was it fun to watch unfold.

Unclaimed provides an intriguing mystery, hot shifter men and a fumbling romantic pursuit making this book a fabulous read.

I received this ARC copy of Unclaimed from SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication December 3, 2013.

Another five star must-read from Sara Humphreys! HOT paranormal romantic suspense in the Amoveo Legend series.

With the continuing popularity of shifter romances, I know that I'm not the only one who likes to escape into a world where seemingly human beings can become animals. Sometimes I wonder if that's because I think my animals might have their own human characteristics that they share with me. In any case, one of my favorite series that I discovered via my Kindle a year or so ago is Sara Humphreys' The Amoveo Legend. Today the fifth book in the series, Unclaimed, is released and it is another winner.

What each of these books has in common is the fact that one half of the fated romantic pair is an Amoveo - a shifter - while the other may be half human and Amoveo, or something else entirely. Each couple finds their mate through a dream world, but none of them have an easy time of it, either through their own non-acceptance of their love or their individual societies' demands.

Humphreys combines humor, skilled writing, with a suspenseful story that makes putting each book down impossible. As the series progresses we learn more and more about the world of the Amoveo and their enemies - both human and pure blood zealots. I'd advise that you read the series from the beginning as each of the characters continue to play a role in each book: Unleashed (book 1); Untouched (book 2); Untamed (book 3); Undenied (book 3.5); Undone (book 4); Unclaimed (book 5).

I have to say that I really enjoyed the two lead characters in Unclaimed - veterinarian Tatiana and guardian Dominic. Both have their own reasons for denying their mating, but generate enough heat together that my Kindle was smoking!

Unclaimed offers romance, treachery, some battles, as well as startling revelations and makes me count the days until the next book in the series will be released (it's actually slated for a year from now). So if you love paranormal romance with some serious heat and fabulous writing, do add Sara Humphrey's The Amoveo Legend to your bookshelf.

This is the fifth book(not counting a novella) in the series about the Amoveo group of shape shifters. I have read three books and the novella now and I have enjoyed them all. Each book involves an Amoveo that meets their mate, of which there is only one in the world. It also involves the Purists that want to rid the world of hybrids-half human, half Amoveo. Thrown into the mix is the Caedo family, humans that are trying to rid the world of all Amoveo.

What I liked about this book:
As is my usual with this series, I liked the romance, this time between Tatiana and Dominic. Tatiana, as a hybrid had no intention of getting involved with the Amoveo side of herself but all bets are off when she travels to the Prince of the Amoveo’s ranch and meets Dominic. Dominic works as a Guardian for the Prince’s ranch.
I also liked the mystery involved. Someone is poisoning the Prince’s prized horses and as Tatiana is a veterinarian, with a sister who is married to one of the Prince’s closest friends, it falls to her to figure out and treat what is wrong with the horses. The mystery and action, ramps up pretty quickly.
I liked the world of the Amovero that the author has created. The powers they have and the way they treat their mates was pretty fascinating to read about and has been in each book.

What I didn’t like about this book:
There’s actually not much that I didn’t like about this story. One thing that bothered me a bit is that each book features the Purists and I think I would like a book that doesn’t have them in it for a change. Now, I admit I haven’t read the last two books and perhaps I missed a story without them in a previous book. As I said, it only bothered me a bit because it was well written and I enjoyed the read. So anyway, it was just a thought. Now that vampires have been introduced into the story, that might be interesting to add into the mix again. One day,I will be going back to read the previous two books that I missed because I did enjoy them.

Who would I recommend this book to:
Adults that like paranormal romance are pretty much the target audience. Or even romance readers of all kinds, as long as they are adults.(PureTextuality.com)
