entertaining, which is what it was meant to be. it certainly never touched what the people were like, only what they did/ built. Nor did it show the dark side of all that drunkenness, drownings, rapes, traffic accidents. in fact, beyond a mention of spring break it didn't mention bars or alcohol. certainly more readable and fun than the other history of the town that I read. nifty pics of 50s scenes and postcards etc.

It's been awhile since I looked at/read this book.

I've never been to this are of Florida but because I enjoy the books that Tim writes, I wanted to get it.

Anyone who vacationed in the Pensacola/Miracle Mile are from the 50' to the 80's will surely be please to find some wonderful memories in this book
