A boy is found in a forest he is 8 years old called Egon probably left there to save him from the death camps in Germany at that time.
He is rescued by Richard who takes him back to England to help him become a normal boy again.

This is an amazing story about a "wolf child" - a boy who, like many other children in Nazi Germany, was left in the woods to fend for himself to save him from the death camps. His father was one of the plotters against Hitler and so his whole family were targeted. The boy, Egon, is eventually rescued by Richard, a friend of his English mother's and brought back to England to be rehabilitated and turned into a functioning young man.

Egon, 8 years old, is found in a forest.
He is the son of a man involved in the attempted assassination of Hitler in 1944.
But there is mystery surrounding Egon's past.
This is the 3rd. book in the Liskeard quartet, but these stories are great as stand alone novels and I'm looking forward to reading the first and fourth.
I was given a digital copy of this book by the publisher via Netgalley in return for an honest unbiased review.
