As with all her books the characters are so vivid and easily identifiable , reading it takes me into their lives, watching as their dramas unfold''Could not put this book down ... The best read I've had for a long time'
Joan Jonker was born and bred in Liverpool. She founded the charity-run organisation Victims of Violence and she lives in Southport. She has two sons and two grandsons.
Last Tram to Lime Street is the second book in Joan Jonker's Molly and Nellie series. I loved this book as much as the first. Jonker is a wonderful storyteller who does a great job with developing characters that the reader grows to care for. The story moves at a nice leisurely pace. I can't wait to read book 3, but I think I am going to take a short break from the series. It's nice to know that I still have more of Molly, Nellie and their family and friends to look forward to and I don't want the series to end!
Amazing book .. loved the charicters.. beautifully written with humour. I always loved to read Joan junker books if I need a good lighted read and a book that will make me smile.
