Not as terrible or tawdry as the cover implies. Not great, of course, but not pitiful either.

I picked this one up at my favourite used bookstore. I was in there looking for some westerns and some 80's vintage paperback horror, particularly vampire or werewolves. This is a quasi vampire story...another author who has to change the vampire stereotype just a bit to make them feel original I guess. Not exactly a page turner. Below average writing and so many holes in the story it just wouldn't float. Can't recommend it.

I just couldn't get into this one. It felt like the same retelling of other vampire stories.

Not a bad vampire tale for the trashy paperback crowd but it bounces around too many characters and overstays it's welcome.
