Maggie Casper's life could be called many things but boring isn't one of them. If asked, Maggie would tell you that blessed would more aptly describe her everyday existence.

Being loved by four gorgeous daughters should be enough to make anybody feel blessed. Add to that a bit of challenge, a lot of fun and an undeniably close circle of friends and family and you'd be walking in her shoes.

A love of reading was passed on by Maggie's mother at a very early age, and so began her addiction to romance novels. Maggie admits to writing some in high school but when life got in the way, she put her pen and paper up. Seems that things changed over the years because when she finally decided it was time to put her story ideas on paper, the pen was out and the computer was in. Took her a while to catch up but she finally made it.

When not writing, Maggie can usually be found reading, doing genealogy research or watching NASCAR.

This books consists of three different stories by some of my favorite authors. The stories are all related to one another by this very special wedding dress that Matilda (in the first story) gets married in and is passed down from generation to generation.
As a general rule, I really like Lena Matthews and Maggie Casper's books. I don't recall reading many Liz Andrews' books, but in my opinion it was Ms. Andrews' story that fell below the mark in this book. This book really rates 3.5 stars because of the last story in this anthology...I just didn't like it. But, it is worth reading for Maggie and Lena's contribution to this book.

Something Old, Something New By Maggie Casper

Matilda Cummings is a mail ordered bride. Hiding a secret, she travels from Boston alone to Dodge City. When she arrives she is surprised to find that her soon-to-be husband Dawson unwittingly signed the marriage contract. Dawson has no desire to marry. Knowing that life on the Ranch is not for a delicate flower from Boston, he is surprised when he sees that there is more to Matilda that meets the eye.
I really enjoyed this story. Dawson and Matilda's chemisty sizzled throughout the story, and I enjoyed the growth of their relationship.

Something Borrowed, Something Blue by Lena Matthews

This was my favorite story written for this book. I really enjoy Lena's style of writing, there are very funny moments in this book...plus, I think she writes relationships really well.
Wedding consultant Azure Kerr doesn't quite know what to think of the strange, handsome man darkening her doorstep. When he convinces her to let him in, she finds that he is not only attractive, but funny and intelligent as well.
Gavin has been burnt by bad relationships before. When he meets Azure under very funny circumstances, he is immediately attracted to her and decides to take a chance again.

A Sixpence in her Shoe by Liz Andrews

This was my least favorite story. It was kind of boring, and I had a hard time finishing it. But, because of the previous two stories, this book was well worth reading. Set in the future Brady must protect Melanie from a series of break-ins. It was too slow, and just not that interesting to me...sorry.

This anthology has some strong language, mild BDSM and explicit sexual relationships, if you are offended by this, this book is not for you.

I'd have to agree with the other reviewer...the first two novella's are definitely HOT & SPICY with a touch of tenderness...this is the first novel I've read by Maggie Casper and tried to read by Liz Andrews...if it hadn't been for Lena Matthews being smack dab in the middle of this book, I would NOT have read it...I found the characters and the storyline in the first two novella's to be passionate, ENGAGING, and LOL funny; at times...unfortunately I couldn't even finish the final novella...even with the mystery and intrigue I couldn't make myself finish it...I may go back to it later...may not...not really sure...but I'm in no hurry to finish it.
