Inspired by the by the new direct-to-video movie Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, this book finds the Mystery, Inc. gang visiting an old friend who has developed a game based on the gang themselves! Scooby and Shaggy can't wait to try playing it. But then...a mysterious phantom virus beams them into the game. There's only one way to escape ­ to play the game and win. It's up to the real Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma to enlist the help of their virtual counterparts. Can they do it in time?

Jesse Leon McCann is an American comic book and children's book author. He wrote most of the stories for the Pinky and the Brain comic series, edited two out of the four Simpsons episode guides, and wrote all of the Smiley the Psychotic Button comics for Chaos! Comics. McCann's Shrek II movie adaptation novel made the New York Times Best Selling Children's Book list in 2005. While McCann mostly scribes comic books and children's books, he has written for a variety of genres in different forms (such as the Austin Powers trivia game).

Another great Scooby-Doo book, this time the gang is sucked into a video game and must complete all 10 levels, each one harder then the previous, to get out.
