I purchased this audio CD set for my grandchildren. The family listened to it in the car on vacation. They range from toddler to teenagers. Mom and Dad said it was the quietest road trip they’ve ever had because it kept everyone’s attention. As everyone loaded back into the car after stopping for restroom breaks or lunch breaks, they were met with pleas for, “Turn the story back on please. We want to hear the rest of it.”

I recently, borrowed the set to listen to myself. It is excellently produced and bring the seven Chronicles of Narnia to life. I truly enjoyed the narration by Doug Gresham, stepson of the author, C.S. Lewis. Doug shared some bits of extra insight about each book that he had personal knowledge of by living with C.S. Lewis.

I recommend this for any Narnia or C.S. Lewis fan.

Classic! And what a cinematic retelling by Focus on the Family. Entranced my 3 young boys during many a car ride amidst San Diego county traffic.

If you're a big fan of the Chronicles of Narnia, or are going to read it for the very first time, then this audio book is for you! Presented by Focus on the Family Radio Theater, you will listen to events that took place in Narnia. Each character is played by a different person, there are many sound effects, and much much more! I thoroughly enjoyed this audio , and would listen to it again. A MUST BUY for every family for children (or adults) to listen to!

Note: Since this is an audio drame, it is abridged. With a total of 7 books to the series, there is a total of 19 cds to listen to. There is approximately 3 cds for each book.

This CD collection of all the Narnia books was absolutely amazing! The acting was fabulous and I truly enjoyed listening to all 7 books. I thought I had read the whole series, but I didn't remember any of the story line except the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe...now I want to read all the books!
