It’s all here. Recipes with various Bisquick mixes, the pancakes, biscuits, waffles, the impossible pies. But there are also recipes for quick breads and muffins and dumplings and unexpected hints. [Hate making a roux? Toss Bisquick in for a quick gravy since it contains both flour and leavening.]. A good adjunct to having a box of product and meal planning. The recipes are intended to make fast meals and treats. A wide array of recipes incites a cook’s imagination and alleviates busy week night meal preparation.
So many of these recipes are familiar, seen on the back of their boxes. It's a great collection of classics and a few surprises. I wish there were more pictures, but I always want more pictures in my cookbooks. As my boss says, it's food porn.
Terrible book. Handful of recipes I tried were very bland. Its the sort of book you'd give someone who's idea of culinary adventure is going out to eat at cracker barrel.
