About The Author
Dr S Salivahanan is the Principal of SSN College of Engineering, Chennai. He has over 30 years of teaching, research and industrial experience both in India and abroad. He has published several books, including Basic Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Linear Integrated Circuits and Digital Signal Processing, the last of which has also been translated into Mandarin. He has also published several papers at the national and international level. Prof. Salivahanan is a recipient of IEEE Outstanding Branch Counsellor and Advisor Award in the Asia-Pacific region for 1996-97. He is a senior member of IEEE, Fellow of IETE, Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) and life member of ISTE and life member of the Society for EMC Engineers.
Dr S Arivazhagan is Professor and Head, department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi. He has over 20 years of teaching and research experience. His areas of interest include Microprocessor-based Systems, Computer Communication and Networks and Image Processing. He has published several papers at the national and international level. He was awarded the Young Scientist Fellowship by the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology in 1999 and is a life member of both, IETE and ISTE.
