I was born in Coventry U.K and moved to Weston-super-Mare when I was a small child. I live with my husband and 3 children. I have 2 step daughters, 3 grandchildren and another on the way.

Reading was a chore when I was younger, but now I am often curled up with a good paranormal book until the early hours of the morning. I drive my husband nuts when I climb into bed and talk about the book I have been reading, and now, the story lines and the characters that I am creating. He deserves a gold medal for putting up with me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.. Kirstie

OMG What a story! Loved this read couldn't stop til I finished.

This is a great story about family. I cried I laughed. I like this book because it is different from other "were" stories. The characters came to life and you become invested in their happiness, the confusion, and all that "real" life is. You begin to become part of their family. Can't wait to read the next story.

Amazing

I love this book except for the ending. It was so sad and I don't think it should end like this. The book is good.

I saw this book recommended on a book blog and the storyline intrigued me, and seen as the main character is named KAT, l just had to read it!
The author A.K Jones very kindly gifted me a copy for an honest review...
Well, I just didn't want to put this book down!

If you like shifters, wolves and romance then you will like this book. But be warned... Like life the characters don't live in a utopian world, be prepared to have your emotions go on a roller coaster ride... But it's worth it!

At first I thought Kat was a bit Naive, but as you learn more about her odd family set up you can see why she's the way she is.
Kats a determined character, and when you read what the author has in store for her, it's a good job! She's a tough cookie underneath.

The area where the story is set sounds idyllic, where I grew up in the UK you would be hard pressed to do anything out of the ordinary without some nosey neighbour gossiping about it... Now I wish I had got to explore the rest of the UK a bit more before we flitted across the world.

The males in the story line are interesting too, I want to go shopping with Anthony! Jase, the main male lead has always been in love with Kat, but she never really saw this until the end of the story... But that's all I will say about that, he sounds an ideal man for a daughter, (and being a mum of a feisty daighter i know about this) a parent wants someone to love, cherish and protect their daughter.

I loved the way ms Jones has described the hierarchy and pack life, I could almost imagine running with the wolves!

The only part that got to me was where the words 'shift shape' instead of what my brain wanted to read... Shape shift, were used, but that's semantics... The author has tried to be a bit more creative in her descriptions, and not be like the rest of the many writers out there.

I would recommend this book, and give it 4 stars. And there's a long sneak peak at book two at the end of the book, and I'm off to go buy/download it now.

I love this book!! I was drawn into this story on the first page and to be honest it was very hard to put it down. It takes an Exceptional Author in my opinion to write literature that transports you into their story, laughing and crying, to feel their emotions as events take place. I'll gladly get on that roller coaster of emotions again to read more of this series from Author, K.A. Jones!!

Kat thinks she is a normal 17 year girl, but one night at a family dinner a few weeks before her 18th Birthday, she finds out that she is part of a pack, a pack of wolves. She is hurt and angry with her parents and friends that they are just now telling her. Now she has to decide if she wants to be a wolf with her family or live a normal life without her family. If that isn't enough to deal with, her body is starting to release a scent letting the males know that she is unmated.

Jase, Kyle, Ash and Anthony have grown up around Kat and they have made it know that they are interested in her. Choosing creates a problem because she doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings. She also learns that if she mates to someone who is not her true love and gets pregnant she will loose her life as well as her childs. She has feelings for Jase but wants to be sure that he is her true love. While out in the woods Kat realizes that someone is following her and he confronts her, telling her not to run..

This is such a great story!! It is definitely a must read!! Please be prepared with a box of tissues!!

If you like shifters, wolves and romance then you will like this book. But be warned... Like life the characters don't live in a utopian world, be prepared to have your emotions go on a roller coaster ride..I was shocked, be prepared with a box of tissues. Kate is a strong 17 old girl, who was living a life in a lie. One day her family tells her the truth, and she is having hard time to adapt to her future. But her family is rely big and they are all very close. All of her 4 friends end up telling her they each love her and want her to choose one of them. The problem is, she must choose her soul mate, the one she loves with all her heart and soul and who loves her the same way. The book is rely great, but the end is too shocking for my heart, so i think i wont be reading other parts. I was crying like a baby i admit :)

I was a little thrown off at first of how the story progressed and how the sentences all blurred together until you couldn't tell who was actually speaking, but once I made it passed that I was sucked right in. I have already purchased all the other books and can't wait to see where they lead. I would definitely recommend reading this series. If you can hang in there at first, I promise it gets better!!!

I really loved this book. The idea of soul mates and wolves make me happy. This one was well written and I thought the characters were awesome. While this book left me a sobbing mess, I knew that I would instantly pick up book 2!

I wasn't really sure how I felt about this hook at the beginning. But as the end neared I really felt that this is all just background for what is to come. Up until the last chapter, I really didn't think I'd read the others. I have changed my mind.
