Book 3 On the run with the hope that she can return home to have her babies, Kat finds herself in danger. The question isn't 'who' is after Kat, but 'what?'
A news report catches Kat's attention and she slowly begins to piece together the information. Kat's 'Nancy Drew' skills prove useful when she spots the potential threat standing in the crowds, the only problem is, someone from Jake's past is linked to the threat - she just has to work out how.
Jake calls in a few favours and arranges for them to go to another pack for protection. Can she trust her mate and the men that have sworn to protect her? It seems they have all been living double lives.
Kat has to face her biggest challenges yet, can she do it or will nerves get the better of her?
I like to think of myself as normal, but I’m discovering that not everyone has characters in their heads that like to plot and plan anything from revenge to a loving or lustful moment, when you really should be concentrating on other things. So, I guess the description of myself as normal, isn’t all that accurate.
I am often curled up in a comfy chair with a good paranormal book until the early hours of the morning, or just finishing off a chapter that I’m writing. Ultimately, that tends to turn into beginning the next one and so it continues. I surprise myself with how little sleep I actually need, surviving on really unhealthy snacks and sugary drinks to keep me going.
My husband deserves a gold medal for putting up with me and my nocturnal habits.
My family is getting bigger each time I self publish. I now have 9 wonderful grandchildren and a tenth one on the way! For the latest news on my books, follow me on Facebook.
I love Hunted (Forest of Dean Wolves)!! The creativity of the storyline keeps you emotionally vested. With all the danger lurking about Jake is taking Kat to a secure location. Deano and Uncle George will be on their way soon. As they stop in a town to spend the night and get a few things, Kat gets jealous when the girl at the register knows Jake. As they are walking down the street, a woman from Jake's past is walking towards them, igornes Kat and kisses Jake on the cheek and ask him if he wants her to warm his bed tonight. Kat makes an excuse and walks away with tears in her eyes not wanting to witness this. Jack catches up with her and tells her that he never was a saint and that he had a different life then and who was she to talk, she was pregnant with another man's children. As they check in to the hotel, she realizes that Jake, Deano and Uncle George had been living a very different life from the pack.
You have to read this book and follow Kat and Jake's story. Will Kat be able to make it home to have her babies? A lot of things happen along the way that you just have to read for yourself.
Satisfied!!! This was my favorite book yet. I loved it and thought it was the perfect ending to Kat's chapter. Up next is from Lochlan's POV and it looks good as well.
That rat bastard got what he deserved. But, I think we are going to see more of those cats at some point. I'm really excited to see where else Ms. Jones takes this.
I have enjoyed the series but have noticed that in each of the books there are numerous misspelled words, wrong tenses of words as well as several missed words. In addition, the chapters are way too long. Several trains of thought are completed within most chapters that would make great chapter breaks.
Just getting better and better. This series is awesome. Love the characters and I think they work really well together. Just so you know, you will fall in love with the characters, you can't help it. Story is well written.
This story grabbed a hold of me. I found it to bring out emotions n catch my breath a few times the first book was amazing . I didn't expect the plot to twist n turn as it did.a great read
