I found this book to be very comforting in that it provided answers I needed about creation and how far fetched what science wants us to simply except really is.

Have you ever had doubts about what you as a Christian believe? This is a perfect book for any Christian having doubts and especially anyone wanting to better understand what a Christian believes.

The best parts of the book were all the surveys and scientific evidence the author used to back up the points he was making. I liked how the author used information available and wrote it in an easy to understand format. I enjoyed his style of writing and thought the book flowed very well.

I gave this book 4/5 stars. I thought the explanations were well written and all the questions presented were answered. The only reason I gave it a lower rating was because at times the details were just too much. It just felt like some of the points were written for those not understanding anything about being a Christian and that made those sections rather tedious to read through. I did however learn from this book and feel like it would be great for anyone wanting a book about what a Christian believes.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

One of the best books I have ever read

Robert Jeffress is a wonderful writer in addition to being a top-notch theologian. The first part of the book is dedicated to showing the veracity ad historicity of the Christian faith and the Bible. Written with Scriptural references and real-life examples, Jeffress shepherds the reader through a lot of information and explanation without getting bogged down in a lot of terminology that is more suited for seminary. He provides concrete examples and illustrations in his expositions. Towards the end of the book, the focus shifts to dealing with and recovering from failures. I highly recommend this book for believers as well as to those looking at Christianity as their choice of religion.

I've been trying to find a copy of his previous book; "Hell Yes?!" before finding this one.

This book gives inspiration to further search on among Christians some of the other things that we need to know beyond our faith that we don't usually encounter in our daily life. I believe that learning and journeying with our faith is a daily work that we need to sustain with resources like this one.

A book a like this is best read along with your bible while also studying and treading the course through it. I read this not really on daily basis which gives me an opportunity to maximize my understanding and reflecting it with my personal life.

A friend asked me to read this, and I agreed to do it if she would read one of my choosing as well. I think I am dumber for having read this. If you enjoy circular answers to questions designed specifically to be misleading, or misrepresenting and doubting all of science based on a few tidbits taken out of context and in ignorance of everything that doesn't agree with the beliefs you have and want to keep, this book is for you!

I joke, but honestly, this wasn't very good. It came with some sermons on DVD which after reading the book, I didn't see any reason to bother with.

While many of the illustrations have been presented in other apologetic books (e.g. covering Texas with silver dollars and finding one marked coin to show odds of Christ fulfilling prophecy), this book compiles issues beyond apologetics like, "How can I know how to start over when I've blown it?" and Forgiving those who hurt us. Still my favorite chapter was on "God is good despite all the suffering in the world" and "how can I know Christianity is the right religion."

Well written and easy to understand answers to important questions. A good book to give to someone searching for the truth or a young Christian who needs help in understanding their faith.
