I have enjoyed some collections of ghost stories by this author and researcher. There were some fun stories in here, but it was just too uneven. If there's an occasional boring story, I still usually like the collection enough, but I felt like every other story could have been left out and I would have liked the book better.
I still liked the info about the different regions in Maryland! I would love to visit each of these corners of the state and experience the history and atmosphere.
This was a recent Kindle freebie and being that I love a good ghost story, I picked it up right away. To say that these tidbits are "ghost stories" however does a real, spooky ghost story a disservice. These are very tame and while one or two had the potential to be frightening, for the most part these are just tall tales.
