Oh My Gosh, this manga is just perfect!
I absolutely love Kagami, he is an epic scientist, awesome otaku and absolutely wonderful teacher. Loved how in chapter 1 he took justice on the bullies. Especially when they (the bullies) asked if he hacked the site (the school network site/underground site) and his answer was: "Hack in? There's no need for that. Because I was the one who made the site." He is a brilliant teacher, and I am sure he will win the hearts of all the kids.
He is amazing! Helping out his students, while still maintaining most of his laziness/adw-attitude. I loved how he let the kids play a game as introduction.
His sister is a dangerous one though (killing a fly (cutting it in two)), swinging around with bats/sticks and such. I can see that evilness/badassery runs in the family.
This manga is a lot like GTO (only without the whole delinquent past) + science + a lot more otaku-ness.
I love the information we get each time on various topics (of anime/game/manga), really interesting, and I love how Kagami brings it.
I really disliked that science-teacher in chapter 2. He was truly a prick, I hated his attitude, thinking he is better and all that.
Each chapter (so far at least, no clue how it is in volume 2) seem to have 1 or 2 new supporting/main characters, mostly with a problem or something special and Kagami talks/helps them. Interesting, but a bit boring at times. It feels like what some series have: Monster of The Week, but instead of Monster, replace it with Character of The Week.
The one thing I am sad about is that the first school he was at only lasted 2/3 chapters. Which is a real shame, it was a fun school and I really liked the characters. Let's hope we will meet them again.
I will be sure to read more of this manga, of course hoping it will get an official English release and maybe even an anime series. *crosses fingers*

Looooove it! One of my fav mangas. I read it in english online and the chapters get updated several times a month. I usually like bad ass characters more but he's just so interesting and great at other stuff it doesn't even matter. This manga is awesome and has really great characters. The dude is an awesome teacher and the nicknames he gives makes it easier to keep up with the character names. I would recommend this manga to everyone no matter age or gender

Saya ngerti school girl fetish, tapi ya kenapa adiknya si Kagami sendiri digambarkan seksi trus dipeluk2 sedemikian rupa sama kakaknya -___________-;;; trus cara ngajar Kagami yang nyentrik juga nggak masuk akal dan gak ada keren2nya sama sekali. Ga lanjut buku 2 ah. Mungkin nonton animenya aja walopun males2an juga. Di animenya Kagami kok terlalu imut yah... suaranya Levi juga kurang cocok buat dia. Entahlah.

I enjoyed this initial volume introducing the characters particularly liked the Cerm bit with the female inventor of the web. So far this seems like an otaku version of GTO and I'm just fine with that. I hope the manga continues introducing interesting characters and problems to Junichirou and I hope his sister keeps hitting him with the bat.

bello bello bello!!! il personaggio con i contro coglioni, Otaku del mondo di manga e anime, insomma un professore che tutti vorremmo. l'unico prerogativa che segue è "faccio ciò che voglio" e elargisce lezioni a chi si sofferma troppo sulle regole che sul ciò sul raggiungere i propri obbiettivi o chi insulta il mondo Otaku spregiandolo come cosa di poco conto. disegno molto grazioso e citazioni del mondo manga e anime a non finire. chi vuole leggerlo deve avere una cultura minima su quel mondo altrimenti è impossibile carpire le citazioni, le frasi fatte di questo manga rispecchiano quello che provo io quando leggo una frase che posso applicare nella mia vita

Interessante primo volume di una nuova serie basata sul prototipo del "good teacher",sulla scia di serie come GTO,Assassination classroom e hammer seasion,ma con un risvolto inedito.
Il protagonista di questa serie infatti,in netto contrasto con gli stereotipi del genere,è armato di pessime intenzioni e accetta di svolgere la professione di insegnante solo perché costretto dalla sorella,ma in realtà è praticamente privo di qualunque interesse a svolgere la benché minima attività nel mondo reale,ed è poco interessato al resto dell'umanità,tanto da intervenire unicamente quando sono in ballo interessi a lui cari e persone che li condividono,mantenendo delle motivazioni a dir poco discutibili e dei metodi ancora più inusuali.
La parte più interessante del volume è il notevole messaggio anarchico e iconoclasta che si carica nella filosofia del nostro protagonista,che a metà del primo volume,in un discorso estremamente ben scritto,incoraggia gli studenti a ribellarsi ad un sistema scolastico e una società troppo rigida e a perseguire i loro sogni,anche a costo di mettersi contro ogni singola figura autoritaria che tenterà di ostacolarli ,a partire dei professori dello stesso istituto in cui ha insegnato,e che le regole,fin troppo spesso,sono fatte da chi è in potere per mantenere il potere,e l'unico modo per sconfiggere questo sistema è infrangere le regole e ribellarsi.
Il volume,infine,mostra anche una notevole e dettagliata descrizione della cultura pop nipponica legata alle figure degli "otaku" e del quartiere di Akihabara,presentati nei loro aspetti meno conosciuti al di fuori del Giappone e difesi dai luoghi comuni in modo sorprendentemente efficace.

Che strano manga!
L'ho preso così, per curiosità, ed invece... Sì, insomma, non è un capolavoro e non è detto che la sottoscritta leggerà tutti e venti e passa volumi che compongono la serie però, dai, è molto divertente.
Il protagonista è un hikikomori che vive con la sorella passando il tempo a scrivere un blog di anime molto popolare. Quando la sorella gli trova un lavoro come insegnante, il tipo ci prende un po' di gusto e usa tutto il suo sapere otaku per aiutare i suoi studenti.
Una cosa molto particolare di questo manga è il messaggio che lancia ai suoi lettori: siate voi stessi, uscite dalla massa perché quello che siete va benissimo così com'è. Lasciate da parte le convenzioni e cambiate il mondo un angolino alla volta.
La cosa m'ispira.
Intanto ho comprato il numero 2. Poi vedremo...
