Andrew Cope was born in Derby in 1966. He is a teacher, writer and a huge fan of Derby County football club. He really does have a dog called Lara who has one sticky-up ear and came from the RSPCA, but he's not sure if she is actually a highly trained secret agent. Andrew lives with his wife and two children. This is his first book.

Continuing the theme of gritty spy thrillers, this time with the important differences that:
-the lead character is female
-less use of excessive force
-also she's a super-intelligent spy dog trained by MI5 to fight organised crime
There's something for fans of suspiciously right-wing politics too though, because the main antagonist is a photojournalist trying to collect evidence of a secret government intelligence-augmentation programme and is firmly classified as "a baddie" for wanting to publish it.

Amazing book! Love it it’s fab! Totally recommend reading it. I read it in about a week! It’s so interesting I couldn’t take my eyes of the book when I was reading it. It is one of the best spy dog books ever! I got all the questions right when I done a quiz! Because it is absolutely amazing!!

A very delightful book - but it has too many numbers of this word - 'smiled'.
I read this in the morning just before going to school - I read a whole chapter!
Just finished it as a good book!

My son’s favourite of the series so far. It builds a little slowly, but the gaseous finale had my 7 year old in hysterics.
