Great read!

A Man of My Own is the story of a woman who makes a habit of going after married men. While Lisa's attitude got on my nerves, I was reminded there's always an underlying reason for a person's behavior. I enjoyed watching as Lisa is transformed and gets to the place where she can appreciate a man of her own.

The story was very deep with a lot of story going on. A few times I wanted someone to strangle Lisa,then again, I wanted to give her a big hug. Antwan was the right man at the right time.

A Man Of My Own by Barbara Joe Williams!!!! Wow…A must read. Lisa was a woman looking for love with the wrong men…married men. Lisa was hurt because her dad walked out of her life at an early age, the man that she truly loved. Lisa had become so engrossed in being with a rich, married man that she did not carry who she hurt in the process. After being in a car accident, and going through other issues, Lisa was introduced to God. Lisa decided to dedicate her lift to God and get a man of her own. Lisa was tired of being in love with money, and she was able to fall in love with a man with money….

Another great book from Barbara Joe Williams.
Lisa Bradford moved to another town with her same ways of messing with married men. Lisa finds herself falling for the handsome green eyed Dr.Desmond Taylor a Dermatologist, little do she know that his wife Belinda has been keeping women like her away from her husband's cheating ways in the past. Belinda will do anything to keep her family together. Will Lisa find A Man Of Own or will she die trying to keep someone else's?

I am not surprised. This book was good. The message was powerful and the storyline was amazing. I wanted to scream. I wanted to shout. I did it all. This is a must read. Barbara knows she can tell a story and draw you in. Have you all in the pages like, what? Who? Oh no! Uh uh. I was not ready for it to end. Great read.
