My Bible study group chose this book for our January sessions and we used it as a springboard for discussion. I found the book a bit repetitive and was not particularly helped by the short scripture passages suggested, which jumped all over the Bible and lacked context.

My review - Finished this devotional book today and I loved it. I've gone through it before and loved it then too. Makes you realize how many emotions God gave us and how we need to put our emotions and feelings in His hands!

While I loved Making Peace with Your Emotions, Managing Your Moods was only okay. Many of the scripture references were taken out of context - it was almost as if the editors used a concordance to reference the verses without checking to see if they really applied. Disappointing.

I rather liked it. It's different than most study guides I've tried. This one helps you examine yourself as you examine the scriptures. It's not accusatory or ranting, but practical and helpful.
