"The Powerpuff Girls" is Cartoon Network's highest-rated show among kids 2-11. It's a mega-hit! And so are Scholastic's books -- last year's Valentine Book hit #9 on the NY Times Kids' Bestsellers.

Things are getting a little hairy in the Utonium household! When Bubbles and Buttercup give Blossom a new hair-do, the redheaded Powerpuff Girl is too embarrassed to be seen in public. Everyone will laugh at her! But her sisters desperately need her help fighting an enormous, scary eyeball monster. Can Blossom rise above the trauma of her terrible tresses?

While Blossom's sisters work on her hair Buttercup accidentally pulls out a chunk. Bubbles and she try to make it better by cutting it and only coming to worse results at their attempt. Blossom is laughed at by Townsville folk and even the muliteyed villain which causes her to life home in embarrassment. Professor gives her an idea though that could make the nasty hair cut come in handy to defeat the villain.
