Born into a line of great Necromancers, Hope Lancaster had always been meant to walk with one foot in the word of the living and the other in realm of the dead…Regretful of a past she wishes she could change, afraid of the power she never wanted, Hope has spent years doing everything she could to hide her affinity with the dead, but when she is faced with the spirit of a vengeful ghost heel bent on destroying her life and a demon that will stop at nothing to capture her and take her to hell, she must learn to embrace her destiny and accept her place as a Necromancer or face losing everything she holds dear.
Truly magnificent. You have wowed me again Donna!! And also exasperated me to no end! ;) Possible spoilers alert:
Once again the stupidity of the male species regarding females has shown up to sucker punch me in the gut. Stupid men and their "It's for your own good" B.S.!!! I mean seriously? How the heck is it at all for their own "GOOD"?!? What part of leaving her and pushing her away could possibly be considered GOOD?!? What the heck kind of logic is that??? I'll tell you.... Ignorant MALE LOGIC!!!!
Now that I've gotten my rant out of the way ;) I'd like to once again preach how in love I am with this book!! I really am impressed with how different it is from any others you have written. It always fascinates me how you can keep all your different series to their own worlds, but you certainly do an amazing job of it. Of that I have no doubt.
Cannot wait to see if Xavier finally comes to his senses about Hope, because really, like every other male who leaves for the good of their female, they both just end up more hurt in the end; also Hope is way too good for Hunter and he couldn't possibly be the kind and accepting male that Hope needs him to be. And really Hope, why even give him another chance? He's just going to hurt you again!
Waiting with baited breath til I can be reunited with Hope and Xavier <3!!
This book kept me very intertwined and I think it was the perfect amount of both the paranormal and romance. My only concern is that she keeps switching the main character 's "lover ".
It's a great book that kept me on edge the whole time. The romance and tragedy was enthralling to be included in. I am just wondering when the next book will come out.
