The Case for the Resurrection eBook incorporates Lee Strobel's material regarding the Easter story into the book of Luke. Examine for yourself the evidence behind the Bible's most important story---the Resurrection.
Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.
I was not convinced. The only evidence is books, writings and supposed eye witness testimony. I would want more evidence than that that someone rose from the dead. Consider all the other claims from the bible and the fact that none of the supernatural stuff or miracles claimed in the bible occur now. Also, consider that Strobel is wrong when he claims that Jesus's supposed resurrection and martyrdom is unique. It isn't. There are plenty of stories like that in history and they were made up (perhaps not consciously). He doesn't make a case for "the resurrection." I'm glad he at least wrote a shorter book so I didn't have to read "The Case for Christ" and waste even more of my time.
Outstanding book on the resurrection of Jesus Christ
I read a Case for Christ and although I am a Christian I read a lot of books on Christianity. I want to know as much as I can about the word of God. I couldn't put A Case for Christ down and was amazed at all the evidence of Christ's resurrection. I have always believed the resurrection by faith. Now I have two outstanding books to share with those who have doubts. These are two outstanding books
Lee Stroebel is a master at putting the complex in engaging, comprehendible language. This book is sort of a Cliffs Notes version of material from his many other books and a good introduction to his fascinating story. It's his story that lends authenticity and authority to his writing and certainly worth the time.
