The latest in these handy little pocket guides to D&D, this book is definitely my favourite so far. Solid advice for any fantasy storyteller (D&D or otherwise) on how to create unique magic items. Plus an introduction to what is easily the most intriguing of the D&D classes: the Artificer. Let’s just say, I think I know what class I’ll be making my next D&D character 😉
My first DnD character was killed, and I felt like an easy revival would really undermine the stakes of life and death I the game. If there is death, there should be consequences and not easy fixes. I got some really cool ideas for a new character while reading. Can’t wait to execute them whole gaming! 🧸🦉🐉💥
I love these books. This one continues the trend of informative and interesting additions in the vein of, well, artifice and alchemy and is well-written.
