TRUE SELF is a progressive journey that begins where few people dare to venture. In the final section you will discover how to accelerate your personal growth as you embrace the number one way to magnify the sense of joy and level of satisfaction you experience.
John Corrigan "Jonathan" Wells was an American biologist, theologian, and advocate of the pseudoscientific argument of intelligent design. Wells joined the Unification Church in 1974, and subsequently wrote that the teachings of its founder Sun Myung Moon and his own studies at the Unification Theological Seminary and his prayers convinced him to devote his life to "destroying Darwinism."
I've read a ton of personal development books in my life and I have a lot of favourites, but this one shot straight into my top 10.
I have read the authors blog for a while now and think the guy just oozes wisdom, and always has practical advice that can be used in everyday life. The book just brings all that wisdom packed into 248 pages.
There is a brilliant section in the book that talks about emotional homeostasis, it's just genius. I haven't heard anybody show you how to change your beliefs better than this guy. He links changing beliefs with emotions and shows you an easy way to change them, this section alone is worth the $16.99.
There's also another great chapter about designing success which I found totally fascinating and had one of those moments when something clicked in my brain and I just 'got it', love that feeling.
Would I recommend you buy this book? No! I would recommend you buy a ton of them and give them to your friends and family as it is one of those books you just have to pass around.
