What a lovely book, a great story of a couple that were college sweethearts fighting to save what has previously been a great marriage until they are faced with the struggle of balancing careers and life. I was drawn in from the shock factor of the prologue to Always and read this in a few hours as I wanted to know how Amelia and her Husband John faired.

Amelia resorts to drastic actions following the repeated, and one excruciating final, rebuff from her ladder climbing Husband that could cost them their marriage but they are in love and want to fight for what is theirs, each other. John takes matters in hand to sort out their differences and what follows is a week of finding each other again, a hot date night out that leads to a whole new and unforeseen adventure for them both and sexual experiment including some BDSM themed play. John really comes into his own and lets his mind play with his fantasies which makes this book a HOT read. I love that these are a married couple experimenting with some kinky play and shows what can be achieved once a couple start communicating, ladies this is the type of book you want your Husband to read for sure.

The story takes an unexpected turn just as you think this couple are moving on and are going to be OK, doubts creep in, trusts are tested. Then comes a catastrophe that bring them to their senses and make them look at the priorities of their marriage again. Will Amelia and John save their marriage?? Will they get there Always back?? Read Always to find out and enjoy a seriously HOT read in the process. A lovely, lovely book that I enjoyed reading with main characters that I really feel connected with. Oh and John Foster is seriously hot and sexy too.

Jae has a lovely writing style too, her descriptive manner in the writing of certain situations made for enjoyable reading. I believe this is the authors debut book and I will certainly keep an eye for her future work.

Amazing!! Marriage is hard. This is a story that deals with the realistic aspects of marriage, the difficulties of keeping a marriage strong, and ultimately how love prevails in the end when two people are totally meant to be together.

I loved both Amelia and John. Their story was so realistic that it was easy to relate to them on many levels. Jae beautifully sweeps you into Amelia and John's world, a world that is probably not too different from your own. It is also a world filled with pain, new experiences and love. I just got lost in the amazing erotic scenes with Amelia and John as they discover new feelings that were probably there all the time, but never surfaced in the beginning of their relationship.

I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a change from the average romance that is out there today. There are no weak characters in this book, but they are highly relatable and you will fall in love right along with them. It is beautifully written and I will definitely be looking for more from the author in the future!

When I first started reading this story, I was a bit apprehensive. Generally I don't like books written in the 3rd person. I was asked by Jae to give her an honest review so I continued to read. I fell in love with this story from the beginning, I have a connection to it, the husband working all hours not paying attention to his wife, I can relate to. The first few chapters had me an emotional wreck! Then it got H-O-T!!!! Wow it was steamy, I loved the sex scenes although maybe there was a bit too much sex and not enough story, but as the story was generally about a husbands desire to win back his woman then the sex had to play a major part. The ending had me an emotional wreck yet again but the story was so beautifully written i have fallen in love with John and Amelia's story!

Thank you Jae for a beautiful story

Was asked for an honest review, well here it is...
Loved the fact that the story was based on a married couple, the sex scenes were hot!!! And the story about forgiveness and betrayal was good. I'm sure many people can relate to a husband who is married to his job and the way they spiced things up to find each other again was 'interesting'. If you're looking for a hot steamy book, this is it

Book was emotional. My heart broke for John. Amelia realized her mistake early on and vowed never to regress again. John realized his shortcomings and did everything to fulfill her needs. And boy did he! Very steamy. Couple grew together for a much stronger marriage.
Buy it...you will love it too!

I really love the idea of the book, one mess up leads to a couple exploring all their fantasies and rekindling their love! The spice was good however, I think what really threw me off was the timeline. So much happens in a short time frame, it just seemed a bit unrealistic for me.

This is a wonderful book about a married couple that hit a rough spot. Will they work through their problems or will their marriage end ? John & Amelia Foster have been happily married for 5yrs. The last year has been hard on Amelia because John has been spending way to much time at work trying to make a name for himself. Amelia is feeling neglected & unloved & in a moment of weakness she has sex with her co worker who has been flirting with her for some time. John picks up Amelia's phone by accident & finds out about her affair, he is absolutely devastated & pissed off at her. John was such a sweetie with how he handled everything.

Always is a second chance romance of a sort. Amelia Foster is frustrated by her husbands’ lack of attention and has a one night stand with a co-worker. When he husband inadvertently discovers her infidelity they are forced to reexamine their commitment to each other. In between erotic interludes Jae Johnson helps us understand what these characters are feeling as they work to their always. A story well worth reading.
