Maybe this book isn’t for me because I’m not a beginner but I was able to pull out new techniques.

Overall, I thought this book was too simplistic in its writing style and too long. Creating sections like using the pendulum for physical health and then just saying you used it to choose a gym is pointless. It doesn’t need its own section because you are just asking a basic question.

The anecdotes, for the most part, either were only tangentially relevant or didn’t even involve a pendulum. The ones that were relevant had bold statements like if the person didn’t use her pendulum, she probably wouldn’t be happily married.

Then the section on Advanced Pendulum Magic reeked of cultural appropriation, in this case, Hawaiian spirituality. It specifically says that Hawaiian elders wouldn’t speak to the person who created the ritual! That should give you a heads up that you shouldn’t use their culture! SMH.”

A fairly introductory beginners guide into using pendulums. Some of the exercises are tedious while others are straight forward and easy but that, to me, is no different than practicing any other skill. The biggest problem I had with the book was the filler. I'm much more of a "let's get to it" person when it comes to learning, and I could have done without the miraculous stories regarding the pendulum. With the above having been said, I still recommend this book if you are interested in pendulums, as the exercises and training do work and are beneficial.

I’ve had this book sitting on my shelf for months till I decided i needed to learn more so I started reading and fell in love with the book. I’ve learnt more from this book anything I have ever been taught in a workshop or from friends. I love the activities you can play and practices, testing your affirmations with a pendulum and tapping into the subconscious to break certain behavioural patterns. I recommend this book to everyone I talk about pendulums too :)

I bought this many years ago when I didn't know better. It really is an awful book. With a pendulum, it is fairly obvious how to test it against things to determine how accurate or inaccurate you are. Why does he feel the need to write a whole book about what should be a few paragraphs.

great introductory book. def learned some new info i’m gonna use. was a little turned off by them talking about a practice that seems outside of their own culture ?? def take some things said with a grain of salt. but overall easy read.

Learned some basics. Then there's a lot of stuff that didn't feel relevant or I just didn't care...like the meaning behind each domino (?!?) and a lot of stuff about angels. Meh 😕

Very basic, fool-proof book. All techniques and methods are very simple if not primitive. It maybe be of some use if you want to take off but other way there's plethora of better books on the subject.
