TREX #3.5

No Way Out

Rate this book
This TREX agent doesn't mess around...
It's a year before At Any Cost. TREX Agent Steve Gessler is in Tahiti to take out a terrorist before the madman can strike. Steve never expected there to be a second hitter--or for that hitter to be a sexy-as-sin woman who captures his heart.
This is a special TREX Brief, a glimpse into the life of a fallen TREX agent.

I read this little short in the bathtub. This book had me so hooked that my skin was wrinkled and the bath water was luke warm by the time I got out of the bathtub.

Yet another winner in the TREX series. Though this story is a short one, we get a good look at TREX Agent Steve Gessler. I really enjoyed this one as it gave a wonderful look back at the fallen agent. We get a glimpse at what a real hero this man was. Undercover as a lifeguard at resort, Gessler meets a lovely British woman Joanne, while tracking terrorist Amoor Ashad. The chemistry between Steve and Jo was amazing and though they only kissed, one can imagine how hot they would be together burning up the sheets.

Allie K. Adams has done a fantastic job with this series. I'm always on the edge of my seat while reading to see what danger lurks for the sexy hunky men of TREX and the beautiful women that set their hearts on fire.

I absolutely loved this sweet small story and am sad we won't get to know this Agent any better :( this was a great story of chance encounters and a lesson in things aren't always what they seem. This story gave a nice insight to the agents and their friendship and was a great mini mission and enjoyed reading this as past of a great series. xxx

A lot of talk not enough action. Then the couple are a couple by the end
of the day. It was way to short and needed more of something. It was good but to short and predictable..

I began reading this series from book 1, looking forward to the series and the concept behind the TREX agents. The storyline is there. The characters are bigger than life and fit the TREX concept. I enjoy all of the TREX characters.
I was disappointed to discover, while reading the books as numbered in the series, this was just wrong. So as to not be a spoiler, I won't go into further details.
As to the story itself, it was good, but seemed too short for amount of action tried to pack in too few pages.

No Way Out, TREX is part of a series about an independent organization that works to remove terrorists from the world. Steve also known as 'Broadway' and Weber, known as 'Hollywood' are working together to kill a terrorist on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The story has a beautiful woman, innocent children and a fast plot with an exciting ending to make it an interesting short story to read. It will stand alone but does leave a few unanswered questions, although most details from previous episodes come together nicely.

quick read, shows the relationship between Hollywood and Broadway

This brief gives the reader more insight into the way Hollywood and Broadway worked as a team. The book is out of sequence with the series time line, but after reading book three I understand why the author wrote it. It was a story that needed to be told. It's funny, because as I read book three I found myself wanting to know more about this dynamic duo. Thank you Ms. Adams!

'No Way Out' is a good quick read. The storyline was intriguing and fast paced. The characters were good. I enjoyed Steve and Jo's whirlwind romance. The only thing I didn't like was that this book was out of sequence with the events from the first three books. It didn't take away from the story as a whole, it just didn't fit. I at least have a clearer picture of Steve's actions that were mentioned in book three. A good add to your tbr list.

Allie K. Adams: TREX SERIES No Way Out – book 4

This book takes place 1 year before “At Any Cost” – book 3 and is less than 47 pages. This short story fills in a few blanks of a fallen Trex Agent, Steve Gessler. Along with Steve his back up is other Trex agents who are sent to Tahiti to take out some Terrorist before it is too late. A nanny gets involved to help Trex and the children in her charge.

This is a fast action book and I recommend it to readers of the Trex series.

No Way Out by Allie K. Adams is a short but action packed read. No Way Out is well written with fantastic characters, suspense and humor. Jo and Steve's story is a short thrill ride that includes a few sparks but no actual sizzle, so it's a pretty clean read. I enjoyed No Way Out and look forward to reading more from Allie K. Adams in the future. No Way Out is book 3 in the TREX Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I love TREX! This is a great novella, took me a little over 2 hours to read, with distractions. You finally get a little bit of insight into Broadway, aka Steve. James Bond meets Nora Roberts . Fans of the spy genre can skip the last chapter and not lose the story! That makes this a TRUE crossover. Loved it!

I'm so confused...the order they are listed here and online shows this book after At Any Cost, so I was confused reading it now. I'm sad we don't get a full story from these two and he died somewhere between this an At Any Cost...but I was pleasantly surprised there are more than four books in this series. On to the next!!! I love it!

Great short story and a preview in to At Any Cost. It was hard to read though knowing that Steve has been killed in the next book, especially as he had just found love with Joanna. It was fast paced but full of action.

cute love story.

Very cute love story. Short and to the point. Loved the action, suspense, hint of sizzling attraction of need as they gazed into each other's eyes. Sweet and enticing. 5 stars

Awesome short story. Intresting characters. Falling in love and saving the kids is not what Steve was planning on doing today. Great addition to the series.

I am glad this agent got his story. He was a cocky agent that kept it light. That just makes me hate the mole agents even more.

Great series

This is a great story but should be read before book 3 because it happens first. Have loved all 4 books so far.

Short but Sweet

Who would have thought you could be in Tahiti to kill a terrorist and end up falling in love with the nanny hired to care for said terrorists nephews. All in 1 day.
