Spook Williams: aspiring magician, Cola club illusionist and... international art thief? Oh dear.
The third book in the Unleashed series focuses on Spook Williams. Well-paced, with an interesting cast of characters and a definite driving sense to the action; this is a great third book. It's wonderfully frustrating.
This was another great episode in the life of the COLA Project and its subjects. My boys love this series and I'm sad that the next one will be the last!
Even though Spook is kind of the worst, I really enjoyed that this book focused on him, as learning more about him and the way he thinks was really fascinating. The plot was super inventive and not at all what I was expecting! The references to the original Shapeshifter books were great and it was a really enjoyable read as usual.
