Richard Walton is in trouble again. He has lost his job, and he has borrowed money from his sister, Jennifer – again. And now he has disappeared. Jennifer is looking for him, and so are the police. They both have some questions that they want to ask him.

How did he lose his job? Why did he fly to Frankfurt? Who gave his girlfriend those very expensive gold ear-rings?

Only Richard can answer these questions. But nobody can find Richard.

"His mouth was smiling but his eyes were cold."
Wendy works at Mr.Kelly's company and she has to do whatever he wants. Even she has to deal with some dangerous jobs about stolen things for him. She rejects him to wear stolen ear-rings he gives her, but he says her to wear them. This passage shows his personality, and how wicked he is. Nice expression.

I thought Jennifer's brother Richard was kind of a lazy person because he has lost his jobs many times. However, the story went on, and I realized he wan't the person what I thought. I could not guess what would be next while I was reading it, so it made me really excited.

I like this book because the stories are not boring. In the beginning, Richard, a brother of Jennifer, comes to Jennifer to borrow money. One day, Jennifer and her friend go to a restaurant called ‘Maxim’. They see a woman with luxury ear-rings. Suddenly a man fall down and bleed. Jennifer tries to help him because she is a nurse. As the ambulance arrives, it takes him to the hospital. At night, two detectives came to Jennifer and asked her about Richard because of his business. Then Jennifer starts to worry her brother. Next day, Wendy, co-worker of Richard, calls Jennifer to talk about Richard. Then Wendy tells her the work they did;
First, Richard and Wendy went to Frankfurt in Germany.
Second, they dealt stolen jewelry with people.
Finally, they came back to the office.
Then Kelly, the boss of Richard and Wendy, let Wendy to wear stolen jewelry (ear-rings) and have a Wendy’s birthday party in a restaurant ‘Maxim’. Suddenly Kelly falls down and goes to hospital. After that day, Kelly comes back to his office and goes to deal stolen ear-rings. Then the policemen, who are called by Richard, arrest Kelly. This book taught me that doing and involving bad things are both bad.

4a, Jennifer who works at a surgery has a younger brother. He’s name is Richard who always borrows money from Jennifer. She worried about him because he sometimes has a trouble. One day, his girlfriend, Wendy met Jennifer because Wendy wanted Jennifer to help her because of a trouble of works. Richard and Wendy worked for Kelly’. However, Kelly is so strict then he stoles jewelries and buy it. It is a lawlessness. Wendy and Richard tried to catch Kelly. As a result, Kelly was arrested by policeman. Kelly will live in the prison for a long time.

4b, I though Richard is a bad boy at fast. However, he was thinking about how to catch a boss because the boss do something illegal. Therefore, I found Richard is brave.

5, This story was also written about family. Older sister always worry about her brother. Actually, I have an older sister. But I don’t worry about my sister. I thought that family is very important for me to help each other through this book.

Yes I do, but it just looking. i don't have any hole for ear-rings. i would little like to take ear-rings on my ears, but i don't have brave to make holes on my ears. moreover, if i start taking ear-rings, i will need pay money for ear-rings! i will make holes when i need ear-rings and i have enough money and time.

@What I think about the book.
this book was interesting! the main character gave a jewelry to his girlfriend. i would like to receive some jewelry from my lover :) However, it was stolen. they could get it again, but i don't have great brave like them , so i think i cannot get my precious jewelry back. anyway this book was good story.

At first, I couldn't understand what ear-rings is, what Frankfurt is. However, after finished reading, I knew that meaning. I did not know Frankfurt is the city in Germany. I thought that is food. Haha.

Like passage: They're only small ear-rings, Wendy, but I can tell you this-they did not come from Frankfurt in an egg box!

Why: This story is about stollen ear-rings. The main character's girlfriend put on a stollen ear-rings on her birthday. It was a present from her superior.
But in this sutuation, her boyfriend gave her a ear-rings. It is not a stollen ear-rings. I thought this passage makes people fun.

Does'nt like passage: He gave some more orders and then he came across to Richard and held out his hand.

Why: Because I couldn't understand meaning of this passage.

4. My favorite scene is at last!
When Richard gave her present, he said ”They're only small ear-rings, Wendy, but I can tell you this - they did not come from Frankfurt in an egg box!”
He was so cool! Wendy didn't think how big ear-rings were. She was pleased that Richard found new job and he bought it by himself!
5. It's very exciting story, and everyone cannot expect how this story last. At first I thought Richard was bad man, but it was not true. I was glad to know he was really good and cool guy!

suspence: Jennifer worried about her brother Richard, because he always bollowed money from her and had no job. When Jennifer went to a restuarant to see a friend of hers, she saw a man who gave a toast for a young lady with gorgeous earrings, who didn't look happy. In a mean time, Richard dissapeared.
Stories in level 2 are getting more interesting. The plot is not so bad. It was a happy ending but I think Jennifer would be trouble about her brother.
