DNF... Wtf did I read? I couldn't finish this shit. I can't believe a woman wrote this shit.
A woman's job (and only job) is to be beautiful, healthy (to produce children) and obey her man. A man's job is to command, provide wealth and spoil their whores. Bitch please get a life!
I'm not reading anything else from this author, this is plain sick.

WTF!!!!
I never really write critiques of books (I just give a star rating) as I think usually everyone has "something to say" but this book I really had to express my own opinion.
First third shopping list, the author wants us to know she knows all about luxury goods and their cost, or it's her wish list for Christmas and maybe hubby will buy or she has been paid an exorbitant amount to advertise.
Second third social anthropological dissertation on the evolution of the species Wow how could a woman write this drivel, I told my daughter about the listing and comparison of male /female works of art,my daughter replied "2000 years of female repression"
Third part a travel brochure that lists the most expensive travel destinations all over the world, Again author's wish list or paid advertising who knows!!!!!!!!!!!!but after the third mention of the swanky hotel or the naming of the umpteenth lingerie brand or watch IT GETS REALLY BORING!
REAL story is told in 20 pages, emotional involvement zero, character development less than zero, the original premise of the story was quite good but how it was brought about was ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. This author if you could call her that SHOULD go and take a master class with Kristin Ashley on how to write involving emotional stories even E L James did better than this Fifty shades seems a masterpiece in comparison. My one big question is WHO was the publisher and was the EDITOR high whilst reading this book, because even I could have made a better job of editing this one (don't take in the first place ). Last words GOD help us for Books 2 and 3.

Great idea but the whole plot and writing totally ruined it and was sexist and degrading to women and I got to a point where I couldn't continue ignoring it. Was really excited for this book, too bad it MAJORLY disappointed

Boy did the female lead grate on my nerves what a money hungry and vain woman she was! The writing was really off putting as well I just can't get over how awful I found this book.

I could only stand a few chapters before I put this book away.I’m sorry to say it reads as though it was written by a teenager with silly name dropping descriptions of gifts possessions, poor transitioning, sometimes even worse grammar and phrasing, and mediocre sex scenes. The heroine comes across as a vain social climbing twit who can’t stand up for herself and acts like an irresponsible teenager with her 2 friends. It’s very rare I can’t read a book in full, in fact I read a lot of fanfics and some of them are much better. This book was obviously not edited properly and just comes across as juvenile and amateurish. Sorry for the flame Charlotte Rose but if you’re going to tackle this genre for a mature reader you need to work at it.

Fifty Shades of Fu*ked up! That's how I will describe this series. After the first few pages, I just skimmed through the rest. It has a very promising premise, if not for the repeated, minute, unnecessary, and loud descriptions about the luxury lifestyle that Julian/Cheryl/Derek lead. Cheryl appears to be a vacuous character, with no depth or substance. And the last book seems totally unnecessary to the storyline.

sorry needs editing on a very large scale ....the description of luxury items was over the top and unnecessary ....if the author had concentrated more on dialogue and creating 3 dimensional characters the results would have paid off in spades

Awesome

This book is intelligent answering the why factor of the story. I truly enjoyed understanding each character thoroughly and it makes the story have substance

It didn't grab me, just a so-so... It was like a love triangle but in a caveman-alpha way! O_o

Two alpha possessive guys fighting for a girl who I think does not deserve any of them. Didn't like the heroine.. couldn't connect with her character. It took me awhile to warm up on her.. She's a gold digger and a doormat. I feel like she just put up with Derek because of the things he buys her..

Anywho~ hot sex scenes and very explicit.I know this sounds fuck up but I love how Julian was possessive, dominant, sweet but scary. XD

description

Overall it was alright for me. Didn't like it.. didn't love it but I finished it so 3.5 stars! It's free on amazon right now so if you're into ridiculous possessive cavemen heroes then go grab this one!

I found this book very hard to read for two main reasons.

The first being that it reads almost like diary entries, there's no real detail of events, its all read like a statement/ flashback.

Cheryl, the main character is not easy to relate to. Shes very materialistic and seems to have no personality.

The only reason I read till the end was because it continued to annoy me with its unbelievable sexist behaviors and opinions. I don't mind alpha men but the women were just unreal.

Good concept just not executed very well.

Do women like Cheryl actually exist? My God help humanity if so! What a vain, shallow, materialistic character. Maybe the writing style doesn't help, but I cannot understand why these two alpha billionaires want this woman?? She seems to have no passion and the writer doesn't develop her character to show why she seems to be such a treasure. I did enjoy this from a stand off point of view and have actually read all four books (they badly need editing btw), but it only gets two stars from me as I cannot stand Cheryl. Maybe the Brazilian Yula would have been a better character to follow.

Ok, this book had really good sex scenes. My main issue is that the story is slow and repetitive in the beginning. There is only so many times I can read about the h waking up, going to brunch with her friends, then to the spa, shopping, and back home. This cycle went on and on and on. I almost stopped reading. I also hated the frequent designer name descriptions of the clothes, jewelry, etc. Lastly, the h is flakey. She puts a lot of value on $ and material things.

WOW just when I thought she should leave her controlling partner she ends up with another one who is just as controlling but more to the point, the new guy was loving and I am glad she stayed with him, and truly found her place loved like she should have been.

Great book overall. It's all about money for the heroine, and she sure gets plenty of it. There tons of name brands and huge numbers name dropped. The characters act unpredictably, and the male characters are very strange.

It's well written in my opinion, it kind of reads like a diary.

This book felt wooden. It felt like I was reading a report, dry emotionless facts of what was happening. I kept hoping things would change, it didn't. I couldn't care what happen because I see the heroine as a materialistic social climber.
