Nebular Sammelband XL1 - Der Konterplan
Neben den NEBULAR Sammelbänden, die jeweils vier bis fünf Einzelepisoden umfassen, bildete der XL Sammelband bisher ein komplettes Kompendium eines Handlungsabschnittes und somit einen Großband, der besonders bei neuen Lesern sehr beliebt war.
Wir haben dieses Konzept weiterentwickelt, die älteren Romane überarbeitet und die XL-Bände in Abschnitte unterteilt, welche für unsere Leser ein geschlossenes und nachvollziehbares Bild innerhalb der Haupthandlung ergeben. Jeweils drei Sammelbände werden nun einen XL-Band bilden. Alle Titelbilder werden von dem genialen Arndt Drechsler gezeichnet und die erste Ausgabe steht nun zur Veröffentlichung an.
Der „Konterplan“, so lautet der Titel des ersten XL-Bandes, umfasst die ersten 16 Nebular Episoden, das sind über 900 Buchseiten, oder anders ausgedrückt, mehr als 2,3 Millionen Zeichen.

Soon he observed any article, gathered any book and watched any movie or report that was available about space but also got inspired by the classic science fiction movies shown on tv at that time.
His desire to write short stories was a natural developement and a perfect way to share imagination and views with other people.
When the internet was young, the author recognized the possibilities of the new media and shared his short stories to the rapidly growing community.
His elation to write novels was never stronger than today, leading him to create his master piece - a whole new universe and the space opera "Nebular".

Plaisir régressif. J'ai eu l'impression de me retrouver enfant dévorant des fleuves noirs en série. Mais l'ensemble est quand même mal écrit ou mal traduit. Rythme soutenu mais en définitive il ne se passe pas grand chose. Psychologie à la ramasse autant que l'image des femmes. Content de l'avoir lu, mais le public visé est très étroit.

Nebular is a crazy fun space opera from another epoch, available in german, french, and english. There are already 50+ episodes. You can buy them by collection (5 episodes) or super collection (of 15-17 episodes). I expect this series will never end like Perry Rhodan. If you're a fast reader, you can read an episode in 1-2 hour, an evening if you're slower.
Do not expect Flaubert or Dickens, even less Tolstoy. The style is straightforward (as is mine), the characters 2-dimensional. The pace is fast with little dead times.
It starts with the Earth suddenly discovering there is a galactic club outside the solar system, full of alien species and dangers. It needs to be explored. The background slowly gains in complexity while our company of heroes meets more strange creatures and discovers a complex plot to… but I won't tell you. All I can say is there's a villain with psychic powers. You see the picture, I guess.
It's full of clichés and it's the best reason to love this series. It reminds me of Foundation or Star Trek. It's pure guilty pleasure but it works very well. I love it.

Was für eine tolle Serie. Spannend. Mit neuem Schwung. Eine Mischung aus Perry Rhodan, Star Trek, Babylon 5 und sehr vielen eigenen neuen Ideen, die weit über Klischees hinausgeht.
