Ghosts of Gettysburg #5

Ghosts of Gettysburg V: Spirits, Apparitions and Haunted Places on the Battlefield

Rate this book
"Ghosts of Gettysburg V" is the fifth volume in Mark Nesbitt's popular book series. This volume includes tales of eerie events and more ghostly encounters on the Gettysburg battlefield in such well known areas as Devil's Den, the National Cemetery, the Triangular Field, Oak Ridge and Little Round Top.
The first volume in the "Ghosts of Gettysburg" book series was released in October 1991. Mr. Nesbitt started collecting ghost stories from Gettysburg in the early 1960s. In the 1970s, he worked as a Park Ranger at Gettysburg National Military Park and was assigned to live in some of the historic houses on the Park. His collection of ghost stories grew.
As long as visitors to the Gettysburg area continue to share their “ghostly” experiences, Mr. Nesbitt will continue to add to his "Ghosts of Gettysburg" book series.

For the fifth time Mark Nesbitt has produced a real gem dealing with the ghosts of Gettysburg. At Gettysburg one can almost feel the spirits all around and Mr. Nesbitt has given us five books full of accounts of encounters with these spirits. Only someone who loves Gettysburg could turn out such fine work time and again and all of us who feel a special draw to that place owe him a great debt of gratitude. This fifth book may be the best in the series. Thanks Mark!

Very informative and extremely interesting!

Totally enjoyed this book! I love reading about
the Civil War and the ghost stories revolving
around it. These are phenomenal books and
I'm very glad I found them to read. I hope
someday to get up to Gettysburg before I can
no longer travel.

This is the fifth edition of form NP Ranger Mark Nesbitt's Ghost of Gettysburg. In it he tells the stories that people have shared with him about mysterious experiences at the Battlefield.

Wish I had read this one before our recent trip to Gettysburg. We would have been out on the Battlefield in the evening hours to see if there was anything out there. Lots of good information and a must for any ghost lover intending to tour Gettysburg. I have read 3 volumes so far, and they are all great tales.
