A collection of four erotic short stories from Ruth Madison and one bonus story by Evelyn Rae.
Coworker Lily has been fantasizing about her hot, blind coworker, Adam, since she first joined the company. Will she be able to move her fantasies into reality?
The Rosie meets a smooth-talking paraplegic on the Internet and finds herself so enamored that she can't refuse his racy requests. But after she finds out he's talking to several girls, she turns the tables on him.
Home for Stewart is bringing his sexy new girlfriend home for Christmas and his family doesn't approve.
My Hot Trinity doesn't know how to deal with the strong feelings she has for her cousin, Matt, so she's avoided him. But now that he's back home from Iraq and injured, her family expects her to be welcoming.
Bonus a story by one of my friends. Taking Care of Derek by Evelyn Judy is sneaking her boyfriend, Derek, away from the thugs who have already broken most of his bones. She can't do everything herself, though, and the handsome stranger who comes to her rescue is more than just a helpful guy.
Each of these stories is also available separately for $1.50 (and at times Amazon runs a promotion making them $0.99), meaning that purchasing the bundle is a discount of between $1.96 and $4.51.
After years of combing through the dusty back shelves of libraries looking for her elusive, imperfect hero, she started writing her own.
Ruth’s romantic tales are full of wounded heroes: men physically challenged by life, but not defeated. These men overcome the difficulties of amputation, paralysis, or cerebral palsy to find acceptance, happiness, and heroines who love them exactly as they are.
I have loved every Ruth Madison book I've read, and I loved each one of these short stories. My only problem with them was that they were short! I loved the stories and the characters, and I wanted MORE! Keep doing what you're doing, Ruth. Love your writing!
This is an interesting collection of romantic short stories and novellas, centered around the theme of a woman (or girl) in love with a disabled man.
In some stories, the woman learns to love the man, and his disability is simply part of who he is. In others, the woman is a devotee, a person who is sexually attracted to someone who with a disability. In one story, the teenage girl is part of a group of friends, somewhat geeky, and draws closer to the twin of one of her friends, after he is diagnosed with MS.
In another story, one of my favorites, Marianne is a professional dancer, and in the end her wheelchair-bound husband partners her in a sensuous dance no one else could match.
The heat level ranges from sweet to extremely steamy. There are some formatting issues which distract somewhat, but all in all, it’s a very enjoyable collection.
I wasn't sure I'd like these stories but I ended up liking them quite a bit. My favorite was "Mariann, Dancing Alone" because sometimes you need to be reminded why you married someone.
