Divine Lessons

Rate this book
The author first traveled to India in 1969 at the age of 25. She had a serious interest in discovering the meaning and purpose of life and felt only an enlightened being would know the answers to the deeper mysteries of life. Her good fortune far exceeded her expectations when she met the greatest spiritual teacher of this Century acknowledged by millions as an Avatar (descent of Divinity in human form). In the early years there were few Westerners in Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram and she was fortunate to be one of a few to have close contact with him while living in India for five years. In 1990 she wrote the book Divine Memories describing day-to-day life with Sathya Sai Baba, the wondrous miracles and materializations she observed and his transformational teachings. The book has delighted readers in over 25 languages. This latest book, Divine Lessons, is a culmination of direct experiences and spiritual study covering a span of four decades. In stories recounted in Divine Lessons she has extracted from her experiences profound spiritual truths which have gradually refined her nature and changed her life. Divine Lessons shine a beacon of light on the unique manner in which the Avatar guides and protects his devotees, all with a goal of leading them to fulfilling life’s ultimate purpose of inner development and oneness.
