A lover stolen, an alpha heartbroken - and a dominant wolf willing to do anything to break the spirit of a defiant young shifter.
In the fifth novella in the Wolves of Icaria series, Kent, the infamous half-blood whelp must do his best to survive in the unique private prison of a chancellor with more money and power than God.
Alpha Stavros Laskaris wants his whelp back. But finding him, let alone prying him out of the clutches of a madman proves to be more difficult than anyone imagined. For the first time, Kent is on his own.
As Chancellor Winters does everything in his power to break pack bonds and claim the young wolf for himself, Stavros and Kent must both decide whether their love is worth the price they're going to have to pay for it – and whether they can stand being what they must become in order to beat the chancellor at his own game.
Sov Skaars honors the beast in all of us with fast-paced, plot-driven romantic shifter stories. Sov's primary shifter series, The Wolves of Icaria, follows the fortunes of a pack of stray wolf shifters united under a powerful Greek alpha.
So i will rate this with what i have to offer. Mind you, i started this off wrong. Just picked a random book on my self without realizing i was starting dead in the middle of a conflict with no understanding of what was happening. However somehow in these short pages i was caught up to speed pretty quickly and don’t feel like i was thrown to the wolves. I think i will try to get the rest so i can start from the beginning. I need to understand what this thing with Kent is and understand why what happened was happening. Plus what was up with the whole training thing. Yeah i missed a lot. But with the few context clues laying around i made it through this pretty easy with only the thought that i have to start over. Now i want to read them all.
I read the story, before reading all previous parts in this series, on a whim. I liked it and will read all other pars, too. So far I can't say much about the storyline, because it's all linked together.
