This is my RomanceInColor.com review

MINE AT LAST hits all of the right notes with an absorbing and layered story exploring the elegant understanding of the human heart. As an independent contractor, stunningly beautiful Shauna Bank’s biggest client, Cura Medical Group, needs her professional services and she finds herself back in Key West, a place that holds too many painful memories. Her plan is not to dally – get in and out quickly by being detached, methodical and disciplined. That is until she encounters the charming Dr. Dominik Coles who pushes all of her buttons – professionally and sexually.

The sensuous dedicated doctor knows his hospital needs financial backing to stay afloat, but believes Cura Medical Group is more interested in their bottom line which would mean slashing jobs and health services. Dominik is zealously committed to saving his hospital, yet cannot deny his growing attraction to the one person, Shauna, whose report may be the doom of his hospital. As the past bubbles to the surface, allegations and events will have stubbornly passionate couple seeking to hold on to their beliefs and hearts.

I enjoyed how the hero and heroine were equally headstrong and could hold their own with each other; both inside and outside the bedroom. The couple’s commitment to hold true to their professional ethics while pursuing their intimate relationship provides realistic twists and turns to the storyline. The emphasis is on the evolution of the characters as opposed to the bedroom scenes, but the love scenes are still incredibly steamy. The narrative is delivered with spunk, the secondary characters lively, especially the Pennington sisters, and the Key West setting add the ambience for a lively, entertaining, touching read.

MINE AT LAST is a wonderful addition to the Coles series. Norfleet has once again presented a storyline with characters committed to loving unconditionally. The sizzling sexual tension, bold characterization, timely subject and warm-hearted humor will delight readers.

I enjoyed this read. It was pretty steady, nothing shocking or surprising happened here. I would like to rate it higher but these Kimani Romance books are becoming all too predictable.

I love this book, from beginning to end....I was smiling while reading it.

This beautiful, inspirational, and capativing love story of Dominik and Shauna was so unbelievable intriguing. I didn't realize how attached E.R. doctors get to their patients and how much their jobs affects them, personally and emotionally!

The author did an excellent job in designing the struggle that Shauna faced from the death her mother in the E.R and how she dedicated her life, professionally, to helping others. Also, Dominik not only worked long hours and overtime, in a degradating hospital that had suffered financial problems, he also volunteers his time at free clinics helping uninsured patients.

I proudly and highly recommend this book and I'm extremely excited to read other books by this author. Thank you...💞💕

This was a fun beach read. I finished it over the weekend while lounging by a pool. The romance is very fairy tale and sometimes you giggle at how scenes are displayed, but it was a good, fun read. What I also liked about this book was that the characters were black and I saw them all as black. It was nice to read a romance novel that centered black people. I will definitely pick up another one of these books the next time I have lounging pool time!

Celeste Norfleet presents with another inspiring story surrounding the Cole family. Ms. Norfleet, consistently gives her readers what they want and need in a romance novel. The characters are strong, consistent and endearing.

Shauna Banks is brought back to the town that she grew up in to perform a task. This is an important task because is brings her back to the last place on earth that she would rather be because it brings back so many bad memories.

Dr. Dominic Coles is the interim ER Director; whose sole goal is to save the hospital from going under. In his attempts to save the hospital he has a run in with Shauna as he mistakenly takes her as another pestering reporter after a story.

After being physically removed from the emergency room, Shauna returns with her credentials and identifies herself as a consultant hired to save the hospital. When she comes face to face with Dr. Coles, he is surprised to discover that she is the woman that he had removed. Instead of anger, Shauna finds herself remembering that he is the same person that she had a high school crush and is fighting hard to prevent those feelings from resurfacing.

What Shauna didn’t know is that Dominic was also interested in her, but after graduation, she just disappeared. Seeing her again, has him wanting to know her all over again, but will they be able to put their current business aside and make a move for love?

Pick up this book from your local book store or favorite online store and find out. You wont be disappointed.

Mine At Last is the latest installment in Ms. Norfleet’s Cole Family Series and we are introduced to Dr. Dominik Coles and his love interest Shauna Banks. Shauna is assigned to evaluate the hospital where Dominik is acting head of staff after a scandal. Shauna’s assignment entails that she evaluate the hospital and provide a report to a potential buyer to ensure the hospital is a good acquisition. Dominik is of the opinion the hospital does not need a buyer and a can still function without a new buyer. Once these two meet and remember they went to the same high school, the sparks are rekindled. They did not pursue a relationship in high school and although circumstances have brought them together again, they must find a way to make a go at a relationship. Of course there are obstacles they will face but will they let those obstacles and mistrust stop their budding romance. Find out by reading Dominik and Shauna’s story in Mine at Last.

Shanna Banks has a strong dis like for hospitals, especially the Key West Medical Center. Her dis like is the driving force behind her bending over backwards to make sure the hospital get the best of every thing and give the best service. In her free time she is having wild fantasies of Dr. Dominik Coles whom she has carry a torch for since high school. Read as Shanna and Dominik work hard for the hospital and for love.

Sparks immediately flew between the good doctor and the the consultant. It was evident to all who observed them. Though they had met in high school, he didn't really remember her while she secretly fantasized about him for over 15 years. Shauna immediately compromises her job when she plants a mind-blowing kiss on the handsome Dr. Dominick Coles. The author mentioned a high school reunion it never seemed to happen, lol. Pretty quick read.

I liked this book, but seemed like everything happened so fast. I hate when it feels like the author just starts throwing a bunch of words together to get the book finished and that's how the ending of if this felt. But other than the rushed feeling I would recommend to my friend. It had a good story line and I laughed a little bit from the two older ladies and their craziness.

Back face to face with her high school crush, Shauna finds herself still mesmerized with Dr Dominik Coles. They try not to give in to the attraction for each other to no avail. Wish it were longer, but still a very enjoyable read.
