THE FEMALE SAVES THE DAY!!!

This one was a bridge, but it didn't haven't quite normal fun. It was very good, but the jumping around in history is confusing.

Fun as Always!

Even the Bombay short stories are fun! A family of assassins--of really bad guys-- throughout history. 4 stars only because the novels are more fun longer!

I love Leslie Langtry books, she writes such a good mystery. If you have read any of her books in the Assassin series, this is just some Bombay fairy tails with real Bombay's who have passed. I imagine that the Bombay's would pass down word of mouth these tales to there young children. The one thing for sure is that the bumbling assassin gene has been passed down in every generation. Love the stories and the last one with Ione is my favorite. Why you ask, well damn she seemed to be one of the first to by pass the bumbling gene!

I have always loved Leslie's books but this one just didn't grab me as much as her previous books. It might have just been the story about Caspian Bombay because I liked all of the other ones. Still wacky Bombay ancestors and hopefully we'll learn about more of them in the future...after all, if they started way back then there are centuries of Bombay's with interesting stories.

I did think the "from the author - Gin Bombay" was a great way to start the book since she is the author of these two collections.

Learning more about the Bombay family and a different history.

It is fun getting to know a family that think killing is a day at the office. Of course there is always a very good reason firsthand person to be killed and a totally unusual way to kill them.. I really enjoyed these short stories.

Short stories about various Bombay family members throughout history. Entertaining without being too involved, as much fun as a family of assassins can be.
