Another great book by Mr. Black...He definitely had me pulling out the tissues, but still laughing. I found myself laughing so hard on the train that tears were coming out of my eyes. Love the Holland-Dawkins kids...Why Doss and Lucky? Dammit Junior. I thought something was up, but wanted to be proven wrong...I need book 8 to come out today...
Clever has done it again in this gripping tale of drugs, murder for hire, empires rising and falling but more importantly loyalty and family. I'm in tears as this book comes to a close, betrayal from within the family, family lost, more family united and so much more. I'm so excited for the Holland Family with all the tragedy at every turn there comes triumph. Do yourself a favor and start this series.
I was going to wait and rate then all at the end but since I'm halfway through with the saga.......This is h best saga read since The son of a crackhead and I thought that was resolute best I'd ever read. Clever Black you have the mind and creativity of a very mature and worldly writer and you are worth every fine spent. Please keep honoring us your readers with your talent no....your gift.
This series should be a mini series on tv. I am mad about Doss. I knew Junior was no good after his father died. I was blindsided about Finland's deceit. Now I cannot wait for the family to be united!
This is the first book of Clever Black's series. He is listed as urban. I consider him to be a fiction author. His book is detailed with relatable information. Enjoyed read it. It is a must read.
This was the shxx! The end had me bawling. Finally the family is coming together. This is what I've been waiting for. I am so happy for them. As always, I enjoyed reading about the Holland's. This book was all over the place but the author did a great job pulling it together . Where one part ends, it picks up in the next. Unanswered questions will be answered here. This book had me so emotional. I, laughed and cried like I really know these people. The funny part was the shaving of the heads. Wallee was my favorite character in this part. He's a mess. I was dieing. But there is also a lot of sadness in this book too. And so much drama and action. This is a page Turner y'all.
I knew Finland was the mole however I did not see that coming with Junior. He just proved to not only be a disappointment but that he really would not have been able to handle being the boss, he would have really had the team jacked up. I'm really hurt behind the loss of Doss, he didn't deserve that~ he had so much more in him and thank God Bey recovered. The ending was the best: Ben found his family that him nor his father ever knew they had. A little goodness in the mix, I love it.on to part eight
Clever Black, I'm really gonna get you for this. I really loved how Clever put this Saga together. I'm patiently waiting for Part 8. I don't wanna say too much without giving anything away, but I'm happy and sad at the same time. This train is ready to keep moving, how much longer do we have to wait?
Book deserves more stars than I could give! I laughed and cried during this intricately woven adventure! Only one thing upset me....DID YOU HAVE TO HAVE THAT FATHER MURDERED? THE ONE IN T H E SUBURBAN? You would have thought he was my daddy if you saw my face.... you continue to keep me coming back for more
Omg I'm so into this, I love all the characters and that fact that they live on a ranch and are gangsters is too much. So much happen I'm dreaming about this book.
The Holland Family is the Best. This one made me shed some tear and made me laugh at loud. You can't ask for a mover suspense and heart warmig book. More Power !, Let's see who else will rise or die. No Sweat
Lord say it ain't so. This author know he wrong for that. He makes you fall in love with these people then he kills them. So not fair lol but this was indescribably good
