When Marley's family visits Uncle Bob's farm, Cassie turns out to be an excellent farmhand but Marley just seems to get in the way. He tries rounding up the chickens, but all he does is excite them. He attempts to herd the sheep, but they think he's playing a game. Surely there's something Marley can do to help!

This is a level 2 reader, it is geared (in my opinion) for a mid level 2 reader. Kind of simple in places but in other places a bit harder.
The story itself is a sweet fun story. Marley is a puppy that goes visits a farm with his family. He put in his 'help' like a puppy can... but in the end his sweet gentle 'help' saves a baby lamb. A good fun story for a child to just enjoy but also to learn compassion as well. Well done Ms Hill.
This is one of the better stories with Marley. Great for a farm theme read and cute as can be with the illustrations of these farm animals. This is one where Marley definitely saves the day.

This book was about Marley with a sheep and he was a sheep dog well kind of cause he snuggled with a sheep. I loved this book because they snuggled and it was cute. My favourite character was the dog again because he snuggled with a sheep. I would recommend this book, I don't see why not.
