I don’t know what more I can say about Joan Jonkers books than what I’ve said on other reviews. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve read them over the years. I still have the paperbacks in the attic. When I’m reading the times I feel myself smiling and the amount of times my hubby asks what I’m smiling at. Pure joy, a lift when you need it
Loved this book and love this series. Getting closer to the final book and I will miss reading about the lives of these great characters. Ms. Jonker has a gift for describing the setting as well. I feel transported back in time. These are books of hope and caring, perfect for the challenging times we are having in 2020! Highly recommend the whole series.
