It was light and crudely funny in the beginning! Then their actions and lies take them in different directions to their heartache(their friends and family too). The side characters were great with strong, intelligent women.

I didn't like the anticipating of vows(they deserved the consequences), the sudden prevalence of the f-word, or the moving on to other relationships which ends up with the 'hero' cheating on his fiance to be with the heroine. I understand that a point was being made about learning from mistakes and forgiving but I read to escape reality.

It was too sad and will keep me from reading this again even if it did have a HEA.

I thought many events were unbelievable. The servants do her job while she is pretending to be a maid because she has nice hands. Also, the thorough deflowering of a virgin would definitely have caused more pain the next day.

This is a great story of love and loss and Family support. It is also a funny story in parts and sexy in both others. I loved it ,I laughed a lot and cried too while I was reading it. But I never put it down till The End it was that good!!

Really sweet. A couple of side characters were hilariously written in to add spice to a rich tale of miscommunication. Quite Shakespearean.
