It’s not about eating only low-carb, nor about going fat free. It’s about good fats. Expect to eat plenty of chicken, turkey, and fish. Three levels form the basis of the diet—for each of which the book provides delicious recipes. The High Motivation segment is the rapid weight loss phase, a time designed to whip you into shape, kill your cravings, and shrink your stomach. Within about three days, you will feel unstoppable. The Grounding segment is where you continue to lose weight while reintroducing a wider variety of foods. And finally the Stability segment will become your roadmap for eating well for the rest of your life.

This is not what I was expecting at all...I just wanted a clean eating cookbook, so for me it was about 1 star.
This cookbook would be great for someone who has no clue how to eat healthy or cook anything. Seriously, anything..as in she gives instructions on how to fry an egg. And apparently I'm supposed to be soooo excited that's she's a "celeb".

This book is amazingly EMPTY! Pages and pages of what each and every fruit and vegetable is, pages and pages of information that every four year old is aware of, and a handful of pages of some extremely mundane, basic, ridiculously uncreative recipes. VERY disappointed, especially with Dr. Oz, who writes a brief Introduction exlaiming how great this book is. Really? She just did some basic internet research, and filled up the pages with basic information and included some photo shoots of her shopping, posing, mixing and chopping.

Good in theory. Practically speaking, the fourteen day diet plan is a bit difficult to follow for the working professional. Some of the lunches require cooking or at least substantial advanced preparation. Also, most of the foods are produce and protein, which are healthy, but instead of reusing the same ingredients over and over, each day requires different herbs, veggies, and types of proteins, which can break the bank at the grocery store. The food is delicious and healthy though! And I'm a huge proponent of clean eats. It's just not as quick as the title would lead you to believe.

This book was great! I stayed up late poring over it. I have two weeks of bootcamp left and am doing the first part of this diet for those fourteen days! I am very excited to try this, and I do thank everyone involved for this wonderful giveaway:)

The recipes are very basic, which can be good. Though, honestly these sound incredibly bland. And she relies a great deal on Truvia. IMO, just another attempt at a quick fix for weight loss that would be difficult to maintain for the long-term.

A really well laid out explanation of what foods are good for you and, more importantly, /iwhy<.> they are good, as well as the whys and wherefores of what to avoid.
