This book makes you want to read and read and read to find out everything that happened in this book. It feels like that I just can't stop on this book!!! This book is really good! I reccomend this book to anybody who like mystery.
Legalzinho.
- The Submarine Job O único conto mais interessante aqui.
In this installment of the Cahill files, the all powerful family is reassured that they are not done with the war against the Vespers. In the book we are introduced to three separate scenarios. The first being in the Revolutionary war with a young boy named Fredrick. He was told by a soldier that he was supposed to deliver a message to the president. Fredrick got information about the map that leads to Gideon's Ring, a very important tool used in finding the 39 clues, which if completed gives the user powerful and god-like immunity, though for a short amount of time. The young boy however meets Dolley Madison, first lady to James Madison. Dolley actually gets the information and the map of Gideon's Ring is somewhere in the White House. There is a Vesper general called unimaginatively General V. V finds Fredrick and Dolley to interrogate them to find the whereabouts of the map. With a fortunate turn of events, Fredrick escapes with the map and General V dies. The next story is about Harry Houdini and how he was starting to fail at Circus Magic. One failure lead to the next as Harry's trust with other managers declined. However, he and his friend who was in a factory had a magic trick that would save his life when Vespers want an artifact for money and other purposes. The Vesper members asked Harry to steal an artifact from a museum and give the artifact to them. Harry thought that he would get out unscathed but the Vesper members want to drown Harry and that is when he and his friend's trick saved his life. After the Vesper members found out about this, they ended up trying to do the same thing. Harry escaped a second time and lived his life as a successful magician. The final story involves a young Fiske Cahill, the future head of the Cahill family. His sister Grace was in danger of giving up the ring to Vesper spies who have surrounded the hotel in which she fled to. Fiske was tasked in delivering the ring to Puerto Rico in which she would get after his voyage on a nuclear submarine. To make sure he had as much of a fake identity as possible. As he was on his voyage, he was attacked by a secret Vesper spy who had known that Fiske had Gideon's Ring. In a unfortunate turn of events, the lieutenant of the ship died to the Vesper and Fiske then escaped the nuclear submarine as it had a small engine failure and the Vesper was close into killing Fiske. The reason why I gave this book 4 stars is because of the fact that it had three separate stories that contributed to the plot as a whole. This is what I think about The 39 Clues: The Cahill Files: Spymasters.
The Redcoat Chase: 3 stars. This one wasn't interesting until about 3/4 of the way in, but then it was seriously awesome.
The Houdini Escape: 4 stars. This one was so interesting but I think the magic was the cool part for me. It was also interesting how people outside the Cahill family were the center of this story.
The Submarine Job: 4.5 stars. Fiske and Grace. Do I need to say more. Their stories are always my favorites.
This was an amazing book. It had all the things I love in a book. An intese climax, mystery during the rising action, and a lot of details during the falling action. It is a book about a boy who is part of the cahill family. Their main rivals are thee vespers who want to kill them. In this book they are in the civil war and the vespers are aprroaching, not giving any spoilers but it is an intese matchup
This is my first The 39 Clues book, and all I could say is that I liked it. Every. Characters. In. This. Book. Is. My. Favorite. I regret not borrowing at least one of the 39 Clues books in my school library!
The Cahill files have been cracked open by the family leader, Amy Cahill, and now, stories of Cahills of the past, including Dolly Madison, Harry Houdini, and Fiske Cahill himself, are being revealed. Learn more about the family and their past as you read the second edition to the Cahill files. I enjoyed reading this book, but because it is actually a collection of three e-books, the three parts didn't exactly combine and interlock like the first stories in book one did.
