Well...at least the price was right for me even though the book wasn't. I'm beyond thankful that I got this book for free, because I would have been mad had I paid for it. It really felt like I was reading a script to a bad porn movie in the worst kind of way. The emotion was severely lacking, the editing was awful, and the writing was very mechanical. It just had an overall skeezy feel to it that I didn't appreciate when it could have been a beautiful story. The lead ins to each sex scene were nice, but then the intimate parts were condensed, rushed, and not well done at all. I felt like I was being cheated, because it was supposed to be an erotic romance last I checked. Another spot I noticed, was that the conflict had potential if it had not come entirely out of left field. You can't just throw a character in there for the sake of it because you haven't written your book with any real conflict to resolve. *shaking head* I think that this author just needs to take a step back and reevaluate, because it could turn into a good story with some more work.

This little lovely featured a 38 year old divorced mother of an 18 year old. She is dragged (but very willingly dragged mind you) to a fetish club. Now this club (think dance club with fun stations upstairs) is also the destination of Kai and Jared. These two studly men are lovers looking to add a third to not only their bedroom, but to their lives as well. They are in their mid twenties and looking for a more mature woman who can handle their relationship. (Where oh where were these boys when I was still looking?)

Anyways, they all meet and fall in instant lust. Then they all go watch a sub get a whipping, because that's always what you should do when on a first date. *snort*

This story has some very well-written smexy scenes. All senerios put forward had the prep necessary to be believable too. Yes she's had anal sex before, so the DP isn't too much of a stretch. (get it...stretch. Lord, I'm lame tonight.)

The ending is a very HEA cheezy one, and the little "drama" at the end that IMO should have been expanded or cut out, were the only things keeping this from being five stars. For a short tale the author got me interested and caring about all characters involved, and really put me into the story. Great M/M/F menage. 4 stars.

3.5 stars - I wish GR would allow half stars

At the heart of all the Kimberly Hunter books I have read is this upbeat, optimistic sweetness. There is something just intrinsically nice and 'down home' about her characters and writing. So you have to smile while you read. I love to intersperse Ms Hunter’s books in between work and the darker books that I read, to pick me up and make me come over to the light and bright side.

Alexandria is 38, 2 years divorced, has an 18 year old son at college and, without going into boring detail, meets two fine male specimens at a kink club. Said fine specimens, Kai and Jared, are both around their mid-late twenties, have been looking for a third and are sick of self-centric girls; now it’s time for a woman. Enter our heroine, Alexandria.

I really liked Alexandria from the beginning, she’s nice, like most females, has some body issues, but thank God she doesn’t get all stupid about being curvy, and having stretch marks. She talks about it honestly, but she doesn’t get all self-loathing; I hate (with a passion) female MC’s that go on and on about their weight or their body negatively. I DNF one like that recently.

I’ll say that the book didn’t fog the windows up on me, but I still enjoyed it and, quite frankly, I was too busy thinking - “you go girl, two hot, sweet, younger guys, yesss” - to care much. I love seeing an older woman with younger guys. Why not?

OK, there’s the slightest bit of kink and I do mean slight, a bit of a slap on the backside, watching a tame scene at a club together, and that’s it. So, if too much kink ordinarily puts you off, fear not. There isn’t lots of sex but there is M/M action, briefly, plus M/M/F action, no complaints. There’s one little moment of drama near the end, which is gone in a blink. There is also the nicest epilogue.

Two for the Price of One is a recommended read for those wanting a quick read, where there are no particular dramas, an older heroine/younger male ménage combo, and a feel good aura.

A sexy menage story. Xandria is 38 with an 18 yr old son. Jared & Kai are 25/26, and someone like Xandria is exactly who they're looking for.

I've never been a fan of cougar stories but because the guys pursue Xandria that doesn't seem to matter. There are no major problems in this story to overcome, except for one small meeting with the ex-husband and all the sex scenes are sizzlin'.

So all in all a sexy short story with 2 hawt guys who are into each other and their girl.

We Meet Kai and Jared who are in a relationship, but feel that they are missing something from their life. They have been looking for the perfect women to bring in to their relationship and so far they are not working out for them. Alexandria is older women, divorce and has a college age son. When her friends tell her that are taking her to a fetish club that is open only for that weekend. Alexandria meets with Kai and Jared.
Will they be able to get past the age differences? Alexandria get over her complex about her body shape.
