A decent book to gain your theoretical knowledge from for the OCP Java 7 exam. I did find the questions in my exam had a different feel to the practice questions and mock exams offered. But the theoretical content is accurate and complete. At the time that I wrote my exam, Mala Gupta's book OCP Java SE 7 Programmer II Certification Guide was not yet released and may provide better questions (based on my experience for the OCA).
All in all, worth getting for the OCP Java 7 exam and as a reference manual as well.
I've used this book to study for OCPJP 7 certification exam. The book covers if not all, most of the exam topics, it is complete at that level. I can't surely say it was just the edition that I've got of it that had this problems, but the one I've used unfortunately had a lot of errors, mistakes and faults which many I couldn't verify and led me into committing some mistakes, it was a shame, since at that time this was the only specific study book available for the exam
